I would like to put on record my appreciation of the excellent work that Gemma has done over the past two months to effect exchange. Gemma has consistently been the source of valuable conveyancing information, of which she is highly knowledgeable, as well as maintaining excellent contact with all parties throughout the process. I have found this invaluable.I have also found Gemma to be very professional & positive in her communication. In précis, the function that Gemma performs & the way in which she performs it is a credit to Charters. Finally, I would also like to thank both your sales team & you personally for the way that you both marketed & quickly arranged for high quality viewings. I have had a number of experiences of Estate Agents over the years and am safe in the knowledge that Charters has been, by far, the best positive experience.

Exceptional service from Sarah Bainbridge in the Charters Lettings team. Sarah has gone above and beyond throughout the whole viewings and lettings process and I cannot recommend her enough. I have interacted with other lettings companies in Winchester there was no one who compared to Sarah. We live 150 miles away keeping that in mind she promptly arranged viewings for us on our time and even at the last minute. I had given up on finding the right apartment if it wasn't for Sarah Bainbridge we wouldn't have found the apartment we were looking for.

I can highly recommend Charters Estate Agents. From the initial meeting to the exchange it was a pleasure dealing with Elle and Jo. The prospect of selling my late parents house was daunting at first but the process, regular updates and overall professionalism was second to none. Charters have excelled themselves and should be very proud of their people. Not all Agents are the same and if you are looking to sell your first call should be to Charters.

Cameron Broom from the Chandlers Ford office is a polite young, well presented representation of Charters. He has great confidence and knowledge. He made us feel welcome and relaxed when showing us around the property we visited. We decided to take our property off the market, however if we were to come back on in the future, I would most certainly come back to Charters.

Selling the house was the easy bit, holding our nerve (and also the chain) could not have been done without Jo (Goddard) and Gemma (Hill). We had bizarre downsizers, split chains, Liz Truss tanking the economy in the middle and a brilliant chain who held with us to exchange. Jo and Gemma did everything to keep us all sane, we have not moved in 20 years and dreaded every minute of the emotional rollercoaster. Thanks again Charters, I would recommend (if I ever move again!). [if the boss of Charters reads this give them a special bonus, you have done very well out of our chain and it was Jo/Gemma who held it together] - avoidance of doubt worth every penny!Paul

Sarah Bainbridge and the Winchester team made finding a new home much easier and less stressful during an international move. She helped give us a sense of the landscape, including driving us around to see some further afield options in her own car, and she went out of her way to help get us into the house we were most excited about. We have used Charters for 8 years to manage our rental property. Recently we came to the end of a tenancy and I have been particularly impressed this time with the efficiency and excellent communication shown by the helpful staff liaising across departments seamlessly. Sarah Bainbridge & Emma McFarland on the rental side and Paul Stephens in sales have been excellent.

Despite the valuation being over ambitious and unrealistic, I was happy to go with Charters because of their reputation and sponsorship of Winchester rugby club. Once the sale was agreed, Jo was specially helpful in providing weekly updates and chasing round all parties right up to exchange I can wholeheartedly recommend Charters, as long as you are aware of what the real market value is.

Sarah who works for Charters was extremely professional and always went out of her way to assist and totally understood what our needs were. Sarah found the best property we could of asked for. The process was easy and effortless. We are immigrating to the UK and did not have an idea of how the rental of properties worked. Sarah guided us and explained all we needed to know clearly. We were comfortable and she always made us feel at ease.

Edward at the Alton branch couldn't do enough to help with my sale.I can't imagine a more supportive, communicative and friendly agent to have in your corner. My sale was complex, and sadly fell through, but Edward could not have done more to help - speaking with everyone in his network to solve questions both solicitors couldn't find answers to. He fought hard for me, and my buyer, and whilst we lost this one, as soon as I have my lease extension I'll be back for his help. Having worked in the property industry for many years, he's managed to really impress with his attitude and approach to customer service. Everyone at Alton Charters has been really friendly through the whole process - a great team to have by your side in what can often be a stressful and emotional time.

TrustpilotViewing properties online is no substitute for a good agent
Storme conducted a viewing of a high value property which had recently returned to the market, the chain having collapsed. We were suspicious of the reasons behind the other buyer pulling out and also concerned that the property was slightly out of our search area. Storme did a great job reassuring us and pointing out features of the property that would make it an excellent family home. We made an offer, which was accepted.
