Professional Service

Charters let and manage a house for us. They have offered a high level of service in relation to finding and looking after our tenants. One thing I have liked is that we have been able to deal with the same people over the last 6 months or so. It makes a huge difference to have a stable team. They also appear to respond quickly to issues raised by tenants. This is critical to for maintaining good tenant/landlord relationships.

Highly recommend

We chose Charters due to our need to get sold quickly, and they had presented themselves as being very proactive, with proven success and we liked their approach. We have not been disappointed! I can’t find a single fault, we have been kept updated throughout, had viewings booked in before even going on the market and received 2 offers within a week, plus achieving more than we thought we could for the house. We are still in the selling stage but I can highly recommend Charters on every level. We have had most communication with Cameron and Luke, but the whole team has been fantastic.

Great first experience

Having had negative experiences with estate agents and the rental market and being first time buyers, I was extremely nervous about our first viewing. I couldn't have been more wrong though! Sarah (from the Southampton branch) instantly made myself and my partner feel at ease upon arrival with her warm and enthusiastic nature. We viewed two properties with her and whilst they weren't what we were looking for we appreciated her taking the time to talk openly with us and gauge more of an idea of what we are looking for. Professional, understanding and compassionate

My partner and I have experienced a rollercoaster of a year; being forced to sell our beloved home owing the skyrocketing interest rates and then facing the tortuous task of finding another house. After several disappointments (including one failed sale and three failed purchases), we located a beautiful home, marketed by Charters. From the moment we contacted them (Bishops Waltham branch) to request a viewing to the point we exchanged contracts (this week!), the staff at Charters have been nothing but professional, understanding and compassionate. Efficient, friendly and knowledgeable

I needed quite a specific rental property, and Ash at Charters was professional and proactive in helping me secure the right place, particularly asking the landlord if he'd accept a pet. Ash guided me through all the steps I needed to follow and was friendly and communicative throughout. I have deducted one star because Charters uses Vouch to check tenant credentials and this system let me down, unable to handle my self-employed and savings status in a real "computer says no" scenario. This is unrelated to Ash's excellent service.
