Fantastic Service

Following the death of our Mother, my sister and I had to arrange for the sale of her property. Although we had a few problems with the sale along the way, Olly and Andy from Beals Shirley Office never gave up and took all the stress away from us. They kept us fully informed all the way through and answered any emails by return or called us straight back. We would like thank you both very much for your support from beginning to end. I currently rent from beals, similarly too several of the reviews on here seems they are eager to get you into the house and provide excellent service prior to moving in. However since moving in that has disappeared I'm constantly having to call and email to chase up to deal with minor issues as I never receive a call back when they say they will and unless I complain or have a go nothing gets done. It's been 2 months since I moved in and I'm still waiting to have urine stained mattresses removed from the property, a tumble dryer that doesn't heat only spins, and a newly fitted kitchen/downstairs bathroom of which the radiator has fallen off the wall about 5 weeks ago. I would suggest not going with beals unless you move into a complete property with no issues.NegativeResponsiveness

We have awarded Beals 3 stars only because we did not quite get over the line after 12 months. This might not be too fair given market conditions. We could not fault the efforts made, especially by Sarah and lately Akshay and Holly. At all times pleasant, polite and extremely helpful. My only regret is that we didn’t work with Akshay sooner.

I wish I could give 0 stars for this company. We were shown a property to let. We told her we love the property and would like to secure it. She advised us to send her an email as she wasn’t going back to the office until Monday. We did exactly what she advised and followed it with a telephone call. Her colleague told us she was busy and she would call when she’s done. She never called. Called again, same message from her colleague. The day ended with no call back. Called the following day and was told she was off work. Called the Wednesday and was told again that she was busy and would call back. I called back later, please note she had not acknowledged the email we sent on Saturday at this point. When I called, I was told she is on her lunch break. At this point I asked what was going on and her colleague told me that the property has been let to someone else. I suspect we didn’t get it because of our ethnicity. I couldn’t think of no other reason because she told us on the day we viewed, that no interest has been expressed. If you are from a minority group avoid Beals Estate Agents.
