This is the worst service what I see ever. They ask me many time to come with the address, same question from different people of staff, told me to put holding depossit down and after they put you in waiting for day to another day until you says no, is to much. Surprise, at the end the holding deposit is no returning back! Old staff with no experience! Kim, the manager all the time different answer from your question. Nothig profesional!

Julie at the East Boldon office kept me out of the nut house.

I haven't seen any reviews here for Andrew Craig, East Bolden. There are quite a lot of reviews on Google Maps, all positive, so it's time for one here.I just purchased a small retirement flat through the East Boldon branch. I'm an old guy who hasn't bought a property in almost a half century, when the process was simple. Now it's a bureaucratic nightmare.If it wasn't for the lovely Julie in the East Boldon office I would have gone even more bonkers than usual. Julie was a calm, friendly, ever helpful presence, who kept me relatively sane during a long conveyance.I was delighted with the service.

Brought a property from them. Satisfied with service from Louise and can't complain there. Couple minor beefs during process hence the 4 stars as feel these should have been clearly stated at start of buying process but overall I would still recommend the same as we ended up with a nice property at the end of the same and they have a large selection of properties available.

I began using the service of the Andrew Craig agency in Jarrow in 2022 because of the relatively good reviews it had online. My job took me away from my property for an extended periods of time and in the first two years there were a few full-management issues which were normally settled without too much hassle. However, from the beginning of 2025, due to my prolonged absence, the agency did not look after the property well, enabling small issues to be fixed at overcharging rates by their "reputable contractors" who would acquire handsome profits through this unethical practice. The agents Sholynne, Joani and Denise have been particularly unprofessional and unethical in their dealings with my house by not doing the work they were paid to do, but also charging twice for it. I cannot say enough how greedy, nasty and unethical they all were. Stay away from this agency if you can. Would not wish anyone to go through what I have been with them.

Cannot fault Andrew Craig estate agents South Shields. I have used this company for a recent house purchase and with the exceptional help of Andrea this was expedited very quickly. I believe Andrea went well beyond what would be expected. She liaised with the vendors and both solicitors and always can back with an answer for even the most trivial questions I threw at her. Well done Andrea!!!! You are a definite asset to the company. Would I use this company again ? I certainly would and, in fact they are currently selling my previous home. I wouldn't use any other company.

Section 21 no fault eviction to loyal tenants

If I could give less than 1 star I would.We rented a property from Thornley Properties Ltd for over 10 years. Which is owned by Andrew Craig. They look great on the Andrew Craig website, but they remove all the bad reviews. Think again and be warned before dealing with them.Make sure you take photos and document no matter how small the issue. Also make sure to put in writing like email to them.10+ years of issues with our property. They did not do any maintenance to our property unless it was the usual boiler etc.No maintenance to the outside continously having damp issues which they did nothing about we tolerated living in that home due to the area and schools. The landlord evicted a family of 4 only 1 month before Christmas saying it was just busines even though we didn't mind them putting our rent up. They had started doing work they installed a new kitchen in April 23 which they failed to even get finished by Nov 23 when we were evicted. So we thought great, so we installed new carpets throughout and decorated. We didn't think eviction would happen as we had been good tenants. We paid rent on time no trouble whilst we lived there, so we thought we were good tenants.We even said to Andrew Craig seen so you doing much needed work. We stated we will also, which we did. Also I found out that they knew well before fitting a new kitchen and allowing us to carpet and decorate throughout. Knowing they would be evicting us.From reading other reviews they only seem to be interested in making money not matter how.Thornley properties ltd if you check people under companies house you will see for yourself. Must be a conflict of interest there as bias was definitely towards the landlord and not the tenantTerrible people and terrible company, similar seems to be said from ex-employees as couple of people have said you should be grateful to have a job with them same was said about us having property from them. We should he grateful.
