Yet another great service!

Yet another great service from the lettings team. Vienna & Lesley have been persistent and professional throughout. The covid impact has left me rather downbeat but the ladies have been optimistic ad continued forward, and their tenacity paid off. As I have come to expect (im spoilt now) they go above my expectations, which is very reassuring and comforting. Vienna is a great asset to the team and is always on hand - Lesley has built up a great team! I highly recommend!!!

5 stars doesn't do David, Katie and the team at Taylors in Swindon justice, David was an absolute legend when it came to letting my house out, no only did he take excellent photographs, full listing details, my property went on their website on a Friday and Monday morning I had a call to say a Let had been agreed, rent payments have been on time every month, any questions I've had have been answer quickly.When we came to list my wife's house ready for our move we went straight to David, I didn't think it was possible to beat last time but they had a let agreed the same day we instructed them.David should be well on the way to winning Letting Agent of the year (if such a thing exists!)If your considering letting out your home - use Taylor's it's as simple as that!

We listed a property with the kingswood…

We listed a property with the kingswood estate agents who advised to put it on as an auction. The original value of the property was set at £210,000. Within a month of the property being listed the auctioneer was already trying to drop the price of the property by £40,000 to £170,000. We were not happy about this as it had hardly been on the market for a while and didn't want to lose that much value in that short of a time. We asked that the property be relisted normally and not on auction which Taylors advised they would do. 6 weeks later we get a message from Taylors stating they'd had no interest and to request we drop the price again at which point we checked the advert online to find out they were still advertising the property on as auction and had no changed it as requested. We were pretty annoyed about this and asked that they remove it from listing and we would go elsewhere as they had made a complete mess of trying to sell our property. This is also an ex rental property so it is costing us money to hold onto it empty. We contacted Upstix which is a cash buyer to see if we can get a cash offer and quick sale on the property. As part of their checks for some reason they used Taylors Kingswood to get a valuation who valued the property to them at £150,000 meaning that we then had a cash offer back of £115,000. So not content with messing up our listing and sale the kingswood office was then complicit in trashing the value of the property after we left!!!!!! I have never in my life dealt with such an incompetent estate agents. One that not only advises customers wrong, but then can't even do a simple thing as to update an advert when request and then goes and trashes the value of a property after the client leaves them through their own incompetence. It's disgusting and they should all be ashamed!

Horrendous Lettings agency, ready to gulp down entire of your deposit, that's their game. You cant escape, so if possible dont get into it. Anyone struggling can consult me, shall let you know how to extract every last legitimate money that you deserve to be returned. I took them to the adjudicator and won.

You’ll be one of the lucky ones if you get through to them via phone. I think I called about 50 times over two days, only getting through to them once. I did get a call back serval hours later after leaving a voicemail to tell me everyone is busy and no one is really manning the phone because they had put up a few new listings today. It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to realise if you can’t keep up with demand then don’t put all your new listings up on the same day!

From my first interraction with Taylors estate agents I was left uncomfortable. My first interaction about viewing a property took 11 minutes, which is roughly 10 minutes too long and during this call I was pressured into speaking to their in house mortgage advisor, despite me telling them I don't need one (going so far as to say that my chances of getting the property would be higher if I spoke to their advisor). I attend the viewing and am immediattely pressured to put in an offer, despite me raising important questions that they couldn't answer. The following day I am pressured once more to put in a final offer, despite my questions not being answered. Taylors then proceed to completely ignore me and never got back to me, answering my questions. A couple days later I am called by Brittany to inform me that a higher offer was accepted. The only reason I am giving them 2 stars instead of 1 is specifically because of Brittany who was professional and kind in my communications with her. Maybe Taylors are great for sellers but my experience with them as a buyer has not been good.
