Exactly how an estate agent should be and a very refreshing change from some of the high street chains. The team, lead from the front by Richard and David, are extremely knowledgeable, always on hand to help with whatever may be thrown their way and operate in an extremely professional and efficient manner. I have used Folkands for letting properties and, when the time comes, will be only to happy to use them again in the future for further lettings and sales. A huge thanks to the whole team.

I have just sold my investment property in East Croydon through Folklands Estate Agents and couldn’t recommend them highly enough. I have found Richard, David and Jeannie to be very pleasant to work with, and particularly good with their communication. I live a long way from Croydon and at no stage have I felt out of the loop. Folklands are clearly a company who care about their clients and work hard to achieve them the best results. A job well done!

Folklands are really an exceptional company and the complete opposite of the stereo typical Estate Agents. We made the mistake of starting our House selling process with the largest Agents in Purley in January 2019 we had 22 accompanied viewings and no offers. We then decided to leave them in June 2019 and try Richard at Folklands. They were not the closest to our property but were very friendly, professional and less expensive than the previous agents. Richard priced the property at the right level and presented the property perfectly on Rightmove great pictures, description and a accurate floor plan. This was late July 2019 by September we had 5 offers with two being over asking price, one of which we accepted. Having never bought and sold at the same time before and previously not really valuing an Estate Agent on anything other than "getting the buyer" Once we had accepted the offer like most sales & purchases having those bumps in the road Folklands really and truly became a knowledgeable, calm and valuable asset in progressing the sale both with their contact level with us, our buyers and our purchase Agents. I really did feel like I had value for money and received a service above and beyond what I had previously expected from an Estate Agents. Well done everyone at Folklands and a big thanks from us for your help

Folklands estate agents are amazing. I never, ever write reviews, but these guys really deserve every star. We chose them because we had such a positive experience when viewing a property to potentially buy - we didn't buy that property, but from that we knew that they select buyers carefully and would treat any potential buyers well. When selling, Richard gave us reams of advice, several site visits, helpful recommendations of tradespeople to use to get things in tip top order and much more. We no longer live in the area and he was so helpful doing property checks, letting people in, and helping to co-ordinate things during the fixing up and selling process. He very much went above and beyond to give us the best possible result. He priced the property realistically and targeted potential buyers carefully, which led to us being able to choose from several offers at and above asking price. He liaised closely throughout to keep everything moving. We are so appreciative of his great work and would recommend Folklands to anyone.

Fully worthy of all 5 stars! Richard & David are as professional as they come. They found a buyer for my apartment in a matter of days & despite some hiccups at the buyer’s end, the sale completed a few months later. From the start of the process, Richard took the time to explain how he was valuing the property & I appreciated his grounded approach, rather than overvaluing just to try & win business. Richard’s communication was excellent at all times. The online marketing ad that they put together, from photos, to plan, to description was top notch. From my experience, there are few good estate agents out there & even fewer that I would trust. If ever I was to sell a property again in the Croydon area, I would not hesitate to go straight back to Folklands. First class!

I would use them again. Larger estate agencies treat you like a number and not a name. You can't necessarily expect timely responses (or responses at all!). However, with Folklands, I found Richard to be quick with his responses and had a good knowledge of the case. IMO he represented his seller well and made the sale a lot easier. He was also friendly throughout and willing to take calls whenever needed. Definitely better than using one of the larger companies. I found the property on Zoopla (who doesn't these days?) so they do advertise well.

My fiancé and I recently sold our flat with Folklands. They achieved us a quick sale and when our first buyer pulled out they quickly found us another one. We were very happy with the service they provided and will certainly be using them again in the future. Selling a property can be stressful but Folklands made the process easy and I would recommend anyone selling to contact them, as great estate agents can make all the difference in selling your property.
