Folklands is the best estate agency I have ever dealt with. They are extremely professional, efficient, and incredibly friendly. Our house sale and purchase with them went very smoothly and was even enjoyable. There is a very family-like atmosphere in the office, and it truly felt like we were dealing with good friends who were always on our side. From the very first moment I spoke to Richard on the phone, enquiring about selling my flat, he spoke to me human to human. It didn’t feel like he was running through a checklist of questions. He made me feel like he was genuinely interested in my flat and is passionate about what he does. Paul came to value my flat and it is Paul who I worked with through the entire process. He, like Richard, is clearly passionate about what he does and made me, as his client, feel valued. Viewings were plentiful and I accepted an offer within 12 weeks of going on the market (in what is a HUGELY competitive market for flats in the area). He was always quick to reply to emails, always happy to speak on the phone and always honest. Buying and selling property is notoriously one of the most stressful things you can do, but with the right team around you (solicitor, mortgage broker)… it’s so much easier. The estate agent is very much a part of that team and with Folklands, you can be sure you’ll have as stress-free a process as possible. I can’t thank Paul and the team enough and would recommend them in a heartbeat.

I cannot emphasise enough how impressed I was with Folklands. We had previously been with another agent, and the service was like night and day. With our prior agent it felt like I was doing all the work for them, they only had 2 viewings in 3 months but talked the talk. I honestly didn't think it would be possible to find an estate agents that care as much as I did about our sale, but Folklands attention to detail and organisation blew me away. Paul set our expectations from the beginning and underpromised and over delivered - as soon as our property was marketed with them our viewings increased dramatically. Paul looked after our sale and was just brilliant at constantly keeping us up to date from start to finish, but it was absolutely a team effort - Richard was just brilliant at offering advice in what turned out to be a 30 min phone call before we were even listed with them, and it didn't feel transactional either - he was really just that helpful and friendly. And Alessia and Sophie were both brilliant at viewings - super professional and friendly. I saw Sophie's notes on our property for viewings and I was in absolute awe at how organised she was - she had recorded every detail of information I had ever mentioned about our property and was ready to answer any question a potential buyer might have. I just hope Folklands expand their workforce to our new area if we ever sell again as I can't imagine any other estate agents will hold up to these guys. Thanks for everything!

We would wholly recommend using Folklands! We approached a number of agents to value our flat. Richard from Folklands provided the valuation. He was extremely well prepared, presented us with the details of previous sold prices for other flats in our block and talked us through the methodology of the valuation. We decided to go ahead with Folklands in the Autumn. The Folklands team were well prepared in showing prospective buyers around, they were well briefed and were able to answer all of the prospective buyers questions. They were also very good in pre-vetting buyers before they viewed the flat to ensure we did not time wasters viewing the property. We had just 4 viewings before receiving an offer for our flat. During the process the Folklands team kept us up to date throughout. Communication is key and the Folklands team are great at it! We completed the sale of the flat a couple of weeks ago and could not be happier that we chose Folklands!

I honestly couldn’t recommend Paul and Richard at Folklands enough! Having never sold a property before, Paul walked me through the entire process with detailed explanations, and gave me a realistic and professional opinion on what I should put the property on the market for. Less than 1 week in and after 3 viewings I had 2 offers at asking price and I was very pleased I went with their advice. The sale of my property was not straight forward due to difficulties with my management company, but Paul kept both myself and my buyer updated and assured throughout the whole process. Not enough words to express my gratitude to Richard, Paul, Sophie and the team. I first spoke to Richard what must have been years ago now, for advice on selling my flat with cladding issues. From the first moment, he felt entirely different to the corporate agents I had spoke to, who all seemed disinterested at the thought of a complicated sale. Richard gave solid advice and showed genuine enthusiasm which made it an easy decision when I came to sell. The process itself took over a year due to terrible managing agents for my building, we even lost one buyer. Richard and his team never lost hope. I even employed a 2nd agent after losing my first buyer, as I wanted to sell as soon as possible. However, Folklands wiped the floor with the other agent and I am pleased to say that Paul sold it for a second time. Paul then became my main contact and had a great relationship with the buyers and recommended a fantastic solicitor to them. After more issues with my managing agent and five months later, the flat has finally completed and I couldn’t be happier or recommend the team more.
