For my first property, I chose DM and Co to manage, and I have been so impressed with their service! As a first time landlord, it was initially a daunting experience but with Kate's friendly, really helpful approach, the whole experience has been seamless and really easy to handle. They let the property after only 1-2 viewings which was amazing and from them on have always communicated well, been so patient when we had issues with contractors, helped with paperwork and provided a great service! Thankyou so much :)

Really slow in replying to anything pretty much

If you ever need them pretty much they are very slack in responding to emails or phone calls. We moved out of our house on 2nd July and have only got our deposit back today (16 days later) this is with no disputes. Basically if they want something they will be quick to act, if you require something they'll fob you off, and they're taking over yorkshire by the sounds of it.

I would give zero it i could. In disrepair for two years. Dont know were to start. Electics, mould, guttering, blocked toilets, firealarms. Dog poo on the floor when moving in. Overgrown ivy on the walls etc etc. im begging you dont rent from them. Fail to attend apointments etc

I would highly recommend this Estate Agent who helped us sell our flat. We all knew how difficult and hard to sell a flat now adays, let alone is a high rise building. What to say, utterly unprofessional estate agent. Some properties are for sale in ivyhouse road that we like to view, seen it in Zoopla. And was told that property is sold couple of weeks ago, off hand. I am sure as an agent they have access to the account and very easy to put it STC, rather than making people running around.

Myself and my partner recently had a viewing and put an offer in through DM & Co. We were shown around by Rav who gave us lots of details on the current owners and how they used the property. She was very friendly and we didn’t feel rushed at the property whilst viewing. Rav knew almost all the answers to every question I had and if she didn’t, she found out and called me that same night to let me know. We found out our offer had been accepted quickly and she let me know the next steps to go forward. She is a credit to the company and we hope we deal with her through till the end of the process. Rav has also called me to keep me updated every other day and find out how I am getting on ! We have had a few bad experiences with other estate agents and this has been a breath of fresh air! Cooling off period contract disparity…

Cooling off period contract disparity with hunters.We signed up to sell our property then changed our minds over the weekend as we are entitled to do under the 14 day cooling off period. There is a clause in the contract which contradicts this entitlement so be warned if you change your mind. The measure of any company is how they react! In our case, demand for payment and threat of debt collection when no work had been done. Be warned my fellow house moversThe sooner estate agents are regulated, the better for all concerned!!! Ombudsman your time to shine

Useless from day 1.

Useless as an agent. They do not even know their own contracts. As a tenant I was left out to dry. They did not want to know when I had an issue. I was basically told to pay for what I had signed up for. Although the contract I had signed had a get out clause that I was having to quote to them to get them to talk to myself. All via email. Absolutely useless and contact was slow and usually at the end of a working day so as I couldn't get a follow up response till at least the next day or longer. I ended being told to shut up and put up in not so many words. Pay what you owe. Which was never an issue I just wanted out! They struggled to deal with the scenario and even when they did act upon my instructions it was very labored. The manageress was no better than the person in charge of the letting. I had to put her straight a few times and quote her own mistakes. Constant battle to get them to take action with the landlord or reply to myself.after being forced £580 to pay for a service that they had on file was a joke. I asked for the full works if I was having to pay for it. Photos etc. But the refused to come and take them. I'm not saying they robbed me, I'm telling you! I seriously doubt that the landlord was paying that sort of money for that service every time they required a new tenant.Finally after paying a lot of money for a house I never touched they managed to get some other poor soul to rent the property. If you are a landlord. It's not all about the money. Stop being horrible people and make nice house for people to make into homes. If the property you let out is a mess than people will not rent it unless they are desperate like myself at the time. Would you live in it!!???

Inflated prices and lies

If you’re a buyer or a seller I’d avoid. They put properties on Right Move that are inflated in price, and then they say the vendor wants more money than the guide price. Sorry but if the vendor wants for example 350k for the house, do not put the price as 330k on Right Move, then start a non-existent bidding war. This has happened 3 times with this company, which makes me think it’s their terrible tactic.

As a very fussy landlord, i wanted to partner my properties with someone who would take care of the property as i would. I am not a landlord that rents properties and just takes the money, i take care of the houses so i wanted an agent who also cared. I also live abroad so communication is key for me. I luckily chose D&M after meeting with Gabrielle who was great and personable. Most of my dealings have been with Chiara who has been patient and always understanding with me. I have a 12 month tenant and my mind is settled as Gabrielle has assured me of her personal attention to the inspections so i feel very comfortable. Really happy with D&M and look forward to moving my other properties to them.
