Helpful and supportive team

We used DM & Co to sell our house and whilst at first the sale was pretty straightforward, towards the critical stage of exchange and complete we had a few headaches. This was due to one of the buyers lower down in the chain experiencing some challenges with paperwork. During this time David Master and his colleague stepped up to the mark and helped us enormously, with professionalism, support and kept on the case to ensure we were kept informed of the events that were taking place. We eventually exchanged and completed, and I can only thank David for his great sense of humour and tenacity in ensuring we did get there. DM & Co are a busy estate agent, but they do support you in those very critical times, which is so important and we would not hesitate to use them again.

We received excellent service from all of the team at DM & Co. in Dorridge. Special thanks go to the professional approach provided by Matt, Lisa, Rav and Cathy who handled our sale. Overall they made the experience as painless as one could hope for and dealt with the hiccups straightforwardly.We had a similar experience to others whereby DM & Co. replaced another estate agency. They sell your property proactively rather than just take a few photos and list it on Rightmove.DM & Co. provides a quality service. We recommend them highly.

We've had a faultless experience working with Ann and Warren at DM&Co. Warren was super quick to get our property back on the market after a brief hiatus and Ann and the team were very efficient in setting up the viewings for us. Estate Agents are ten a penny…

Why do estate agents have such a bad name as mercenaries, leeches, wide-boys in flashy suits and cars? Most of them probably deserve such labelling. They are ten-a-penny, just look at the local newspapers, full of adverts for the multitude of them out there...yet when engaged, they are plugged into one of the most important, value based, emotional transaction in most peoples lives! So it is important if you have to use them that you get it right, they can make such a difference on price achieved/paid, the intermediaries in negotiation reducing your stress and greasing the progress of the transaction getting to a successful conclusion. In most cases, they are a necessary evil...like having to go to the dentist....but it's important to select the best. DM&Co are first class, David steers the sales ship well, Ann went over and above and even on her days off to ensure that we were kept informed of progress on the recent sale, she interfaced well between us and our buyers, almost part of the family, resulting in a very smooth transaction. Thanks Ann, much appreciated!

Just would not have happened without DM&Co

2020 seemed a good year to move house and having accepted an offer in early January, we contacted DM & Co with regards to viewing a couple of properties they were marketing. From the off Ann was great.She really got to grips with what we wanted from our new home and why and then worked hard to get us exactly what we were looking for, with several viewings of houses we liked arranged all over just a few days. The first property that we had an offer accepted on didn't work out 12 weeks later. Then came Coronavirus and lockdown.Throughout it all, both Ann and David really supported us with regular updates and eventually, we had an offer accepted on a property that we had previously viewed with Ann. Despite solicitors on furlough and everything on stop, they worked tirelessly to get the move into our new home over the line, helping us keep our buyer who had patiently waited 33 weeks!We are really grateful for everything they did for us and would not hesitate in recommending them to anyone either looking to list or for help in finding their ideal home in the Solihull area.

I have just completed the sale of my house in Knowle. I chose DM & Co as my agents following an unsuccessful attempt using a national on-line agency.DM & Co were excellent throughout what was a protracted and difficult selling process due to the depressed state of the housing market and issues with the condition of the house which had been adapted for the use of my wife, who was severely disabled.Multiple viewings were expertly conducted by Anne Wood, who found several prospective buyers following failed completions, which occurred for reasons beyond our control.She was magnificent throughout. Always courteous and understanding and very responsive to my requirements.The back room staff, particularly Debbie and David, were similarly helpful and the whole experience, which could have been horrendous, was handled with professionalism and care.Given the amount of work involved, the fees charged were as agreed at the outset and were very modest for the amount of work involved.I would not hesitate to use DM & Co again in the future, should I need to and would thoroughly recommend anyone else to do so.I could. not have done better. I wish Dominic and his team the very best wishes.

All these estate agents are the same.....aren't they??

Before I used DM&Co i used another local agent, this agent were cheaper, always polite and professional, but they just couldn't get a sale in months.I was recommend to use DM&Co, within 3 days of an open house sale I had two offers, we had the usual issues with buyers and first one fell through and the second finally came through.The difference with this house sale was the unusual circumstances in which I had to sell the property for the family which was totally emotional.I wish to thank David who carried out the chasing when required and especially to Ann who started and finished the process and also worked through covid 19 to get the sale done.Thank you Guys for standing by me.

Fantastic Level of Service Throughout

Everyone I dealt with at DM & Co. Homes was professional yet friendly. The feedback I got at every stage of the process was something I have not experienced with other agents.Due to unforeseen circumstances, the sale process was delayed several times, yet at no stage did I sense any frustration or experience a reduction in the level of service from anyone. Frankly, I would have forgiven them for getting fed up!I decided to work with DM & Co. Homes even though they were more expensive than other agents, because I got the impression they would do a better job. To be honest, they were even better than I anticipated. DM & Co professionally and efficiently helped to sell my late fathers home

DM & Co helped to sell my late fathers home and even managed to ensure that the sale completed during this concerning Covid 19 period. At all points in my dealings with DM & Co - from my initial enquiry by phone to arrange a valuation and visit to the final stages of the sale journey - all members of staff that I interacted with and met were extremely professional, knowledgeable, honest, helpful, friendly and easy to work with. The sale particulars were developed quickly and accurately and changes and updates undertaken immediately. These particulars really did make the most of the house. Both Debbie and Ann went above and beyond when the initial buyer could no longer purchase the property; during the viewings when a potential electrical overheating issue was identified and I was informed immediately and they helped to resolve, and during the final stages of the sale which took place in March 2020, during the COVID 19 crisis, where last minute hurdles were overcome by communication with the buyer and ensuring a COVD 19 safe key exchange with the buyer on completion day. I think the main difference that I have found with DM & Co as compared to agents I've previously used, in addition to the above elements, is the fact that at no point did I need to chase them for updates or for clarification on progress with particulars, viewings or the sale in general - they were proactive and timely throughout. From initial contact Ann worked tirelessly on helping us achieve the purchase of our “forever” home. We had a few hiccups with the sale of our previous home, but Ann’s regular contact with us and her client allowed that bit of extra time to finalise our own deal. The entire process from offer, offer accepted, exchange to complete took us just 8 weeks!Yes the chain was short, but Ann took onboard all parties desire to move as quickly as possible….and helped make it happen. I am so pleased,and relieved,that I instructed DM&Co to sell my mother’s house after her demise earlier this year. I was at a disadvantage being quite a distance away,but the team,particularly Ann were brilliant,and very quick. We got a number of interested buyers within a week,and a firm sale by the next week,at a very good price. Ann’s pastoral care,in difficult circumstances,was outstanding,she really went the extra mile and more!After the sale was agreed,Debbie took over to push the process along. Very happy with the service we received from DM for both our sale and purchase. Once we had decided to sell, we knew DM were the agents for us - being closely situated to Shirley and having that detailed local knowledge. How Selling a Property Should be

Preparing for our return to the UK after nearly 20 years overseas we wanted to sell our former family home before moving back.As our tenants weren’t to depart until July 1st we knew, especially with such turbulence around Brexit, that we needed someone we could trust to work for us and understand the difficulties posed by us not being present. Realistic pricing was key and here we had a frank and very informative call with Craig and we were very comfortable with the advice offered which we followed. A few days before our Tenant moved out Ann advised that she had a family who she knew would be interested and that the “chain” would be very short.Sounding promising, Ann accompanied the prospective buyers around even as our tenants were leaving and the deal was agreed there and then.Less than two months later all Contracts are signed.Perfect. Couldn’t have been better and the hassle of managing an empty property from Overseas over.Ann was “above and beyond “ keeping an eye on the property and nothing was too much trouble and I couldn’t recommend her more highly.Again having regular feedback was so important and here Debbie was so professional. DM&Co helped me sell my house and buy a house within the span of just 3 months (both selling and buying). Ann Wood, Debbie and Craig at DM&Co were amazing and they dealt the whole transaction wonderfully. They gave the same professional experience while dealing with me as a seller as well as a buyer throughout the process. What is magical about their service was, they know the art of this business, customer’s sentiments and sensitivities and they ensure the business is done with care and compassion rather than just as transaction!!
