John never gave up on me when i missed out on the last rental property i wanted. He knew exactly what i was looking for and recommend to me a very good similar property shortly after i had missed out on the 1st one. If I could do 0 I would. I have rented properties for years, so I know exactly how the process should work, and I am absolutely gobsmacked by the customer service I have received. First of all, I had to chase to arrange a viewing for a week. Then, once I had the viewing booked in for 2 weeks LATER, it then got cancelled a few minutes prior. Turns out, the tenants weren’t aware that we were coming as the estate agent never asked them. EMBARRASSING to turn up to. I called 18 times prior to the viewing date, left 5 messages, two of which I asked a manager to call me & I emailed but had zero response. The poor outbound customer service team had apologised to me and said they don’t work in the office but will get someone to contact me - NOTHING. We were willing to rent a property we hadn’t even viewed yet because we know the layout of the property well, and also would’ve offered more than asking. Loss for the client and the agents. Shameful. I must mention, a day before the viewing, we got a call to confirm it, (though out of all the messages and calls no one could call me back?! But could to confirm a viewing that they cancelled anyway..) but no one could address my issues. I was just told that you’re short staffed and it’s not your fault. Understood, but it’s not mine either, and certainly not acceptable to receive poor service regardless. I manage a business myself, so I can only imagine how many other people also have turned to other company’s and how much revenue you’ve lost. Such a shame to resort to leaving a review but maybe I’ll get a call back now?
