We recently used Chancellors for what turned out to be a very complex sale, and Rakesh Jethwa made a genuinely difficult process so much easier. He kept us informed every step of the way and, when our buyer started to mess around, Rakesh stepped up and got things back on track. He was even contactable outside of office hours when we needed him, that kind of dedication goes above and beyond what you'd normally expect from an estate agent. Couldn't recommend him highly enough.

We had initally approached another agent to rent our flat in Slough. They were not up to standard and we then approached John McLaughlin. John was confident in his abilities and understood our circumstances. He delivered on his promise of getting our property let in a very short time and was always responsive. He would always get back to us when we needed something. After the property had been let, the rent collection comes down to a central team who messed our figures up and when we contacted them, we were ignored. No explanations were given as to why and this raised concerns as we feared that we would be paying out on a mortgage and additional rent. John got involved and ensured our problems were solved. Whilst I am still not fully confident in the Central teams ability to process the rent and forward it on, I have no doubt in Johns abilities, and his efforts to deliver on his promise

Was called by Kashan at 9am to confirm I'm attending two viewings at 12.00 and 12.15. I arrived at 11.55 and waited till 12.15 then called up the branch and Kashan was walking in. Call was transferred to him and said he tried to call me (but not true as no call was received) to say the vendor had an emergency and cancelled. I asked about 2nd viewing then and he said that's cancelled too. So sounds like BS. Wasted my precious time and so got themselves a bad review.

Shame there isnt 10 stars as Rakesh would definitely get 10! Rakesh has been amazing from start to finish(were nearly there just about to sign contracts!) But nothing was ever to much for him to do to help, he went above and beyond! I was with another estate agents before Chancellors and they didnt manage to sell my house in the 4 months+ i was with them. I think Rakesh sold my house in about 6-8 weeks!! Thank you so much for your help and your team, you have been amazing!!! Sorry its in my maiden name(Gareppo is my married name)

Chancellors is an utterly irresponsible agency. They rented us a property that was for sale by providing us with false information. This is the worst agency I’ve ever encountered in the UK. When I shared my experience with my friends, they had similar issues with Chancellors. Initially, I thought they were very professional, which is why I gave them 5 stars and wrote positive reviews. However, now I realise they are professional cheats, so I’m editing my review. There is no need of even 1 star .

I saw property online, I viewed property after seeing it advertised for £1100 per month. During the viewing, I was told the rent is actually £1300. Changing the price at the last moment is not professional and wastes tenants’ time. This was disappointing and felt misleading. Transparency is very important when dealing with renters.

I am an overseas owner of a flat in Slough and appoint Chancellors as my property agent. I can hardly contact them. Whenever I ask for something I have to send many many email but never got the reply. The latest one is that I received a report saying that my fan in bathroom did not function well and I ask for a quotation to check for this. It's two months already and we sent four emails but no reply as usual.
