My experience with Chancellors Estate Agents has been nothing short of astonishing. Writing this review to warn others. Opting for their "fully managed" service turned out to be a regrettable decision, marked by a myriad of issues: - Tenants were allowed to drill around the house without permission, compromising security measures. - Service professionals were charged at inflated rates, necessitating the sourcing of independent repair services. - Delayed communication on tenant issues forced tenants to reach out directly to me, adding to the communication breakdown. - Unprofessional behavior surfaced when I sought to manage tenant relations directly due to their poor service. - Checkout day was chaotic, with Chancellors failing to return keys or oversee the inventory process. - Tenants reported a poor experience, citing uncooperative behavior from Chancellors. - Essential spare keys were not provided to the inventory company, causing delays and disruptions to scheduled property works. - Chancellors refused to assist with necessary repair work, leaving the responsibility on my shoulders. - The failure to collect the last rent left me covering the arrears personally. The list of grievances extends far beyond what I've shared here. In summary, Chancellors demonstrates a remarkable level of incompetence and nonsensical practices. It raises questions about the types of peoples the employ, and leadership, given the consistent pattern of errors. Attempts to escalate issues to their Directors prove futile, as they pass the buck down the chain. The overall management is so poor that landlords end up shouldering additional costs for property repairs or securing new tenants. The stress of managing everything personally, coupled with financial losses due to Chancellors' incompetence, has left me hesitant to recommend them to fellow investors or customers. If peace of mind is a priority, it's advisable to avoid Chancellors and seek the services of a more competent agency.

Jason Miller has been very helpful in our property finding journey. George at Chancellors made our 1st home purchase a dream come true, we saw the property online and enquired. George got back in touch right away and bent over backwards to accommodate a last minute booking even that being a late afternoon/evening one. Once we made the offer he was very good at communicating with us and keeping us up to date as he knew we were very excited. Never been a time where we have not been able to get through to him or he has not come back to us. I have tried to enquire about other properties with other agents and honestly George was by far the best, he is a credit to Chancellors and I hope his hard work goes recognized. Will definitely recommend his services to all and use again in the future when we move to a bigger place.

I requested to all , get some time to read my review for your safety I spent with them 8 months around to buy my 1st house two times they had chatted with me . 1st they trap you in beautiful words and tell you , “Congratulations “ this house is urs but after one weak they called you sorry Vendor changed his/her mind . In this weak you paid to their chosen solicitor etc …which you won’t get back ur money . They asked you leave a review immediately which you did coz ur happy they helped you but you don’t understand they trapped you for fake review , my mortgage got approved bank booked survey as well but they told bank don’t come but they did not bother to inform you . when you were keep asking what’s the next step , they just called you after one month sorry we sold to higher offer seller even they did not give you chance to offer you high , especially GEORGE REAL NAME SOMETHING ELSE BUT USED HUS NAME GEORGE IS MAIN PERSON WHO DESTROYED THE REPUTE OF HIS COMPANY, might be some thing going on inside deals This time they ruined my life in august 2022. I spent £1000s on broker fees ,solicitor fee etc I highly recommend please save ur self and tell others , don’t use them . If head office read this review I’m happy to see their heads about George and his team cheating people .

The Slough Branch of Chancellors (Lettings) is totally disorganized. There is a lack of communication between the people and no one can give you information about the availability of the property. Firstly, they scheduled a viewing but later on they said that they do not have access to the building and cancelled the viewing. Apparently, the 'access' issue was a LIE because the next morning the property was already taken. Later on we received a call to schedule another viewing for the same property. We let them know that the property has an offer already. The next day they called us to finally confirm that the property is not available anymore. I will not use their services anymore!
