We used Steve Nobbs from Christopher Russell to sell as he was recommended to us by friends. We live in New Zealand and sold our house in Sidcup and thought this would pose many problems. Christopher Russell and in particular, Steve, proved us so very wrong! We achieved more than expected for our house and in our eyes, the agent went "beyond the call of duty" to make sure the sale went through as seamlessly as possible. They liaised with us and although our morning was their night and vice versa, we were kept up to date with the progress of our sale. Thank you so much Steve and the Christopher Russell team, I just wished you were over here too!!!

Joe Greenwood at Christopher Russell has been an amazing estate agent throughout our property search. He is extremely professional and has been able to answer all of our questions due to his extensive knowledge of the properties we have viewed with him. Joe is enthusiastic and brilliant at his job!
Both Joe and Abby notified us as soon as a property that matched our criteria came onto the market, unlike other estate agents in the area who failed to notify us despite suitable properties becoming available.

We used Christopher Russell to buy and sell in June last year. Any moving experience is stressful and this one particularly so as we needed to complete within two months from the chain being completed. The initial valuation was spot on and we received the asking price, the open days were handled professionally, by the manager Steve and had no reservations about leaving the staff in our home to show potential buyers round. We received detailed feedback on every viewing and through their negotiations with the potential buyers received the asking price. The staff there, especially Abby, were constantly keeping us informed of potential properties to view and even persuaded us to view houses that we first felt weren't suitable.. Even though the progression of the sale had to happen quickly Trudie kept us informed of the progress and worked tirelessly to get to complete in time. Having moved several times we found this agent to be professional throughout and would not hesitate in recommending them.

Would never ever use this company and i advise anyone to not even bother.
The lack of communication is appalling!
I asked who receives the email sales@... and everyone in the company receives these emails yet no reply to any emails!!
Having to constantly chase to confirm viewings and not even having a reply to an offered amount with proof of funds and mortgage in principal sent over.
Then 7 days later called by the estate agent to nothing but increase the offer!
WOW Shocking Experience, will never use again!
What a waste of time!

The sales inbox is available for all sales staff to view. If you had offered then I cant understand that you never had any communication from the office or you did not chase an offer you had made for several days.
We do deal with multiple offers on an number of houses and under the property ombudsman we would have sent you a formal notification of your offer. This may have gone into Spam email.

GoogleDisgusting service. Nobody in the company follow up with the sale progress despite regular prompting from me. 2.5 months later; again on my prompt, they discovered that the Buyers had failed multiple mortgage applications.
When another Buyer had been found, the same lack of follow up is prevalent. Thoroughly incompetent and simply a team of muppets.
Be mindful that they have a continuous marketing clause in their agreement so you can be lock in for a very long time.
Recommend them to your worst enemy. Otherwise, avoid with a barge pole.

I agree that it is very frustrating when your buyer solicitors offer the exchange of contracts to your solicitor for you to refuse and then have a change of circumstances. If you has exchanged contracts then you would have completed and then no doubt the review , which is extremely unfair may have been very different.
