I would highly recommend this branch of Jacobs Steel. Just sold our property with them and from the very beginning I was impressed by the manager Matthew Balmer who was enthusiastic, personable and gave me confidence in his company's ability to get the best price for us. The photographs of my property which Matthew took were excellent and having seen some very poor ones on Rightmove from other agents, I can understand how important this is to attract buyers. His advice on pitching the sale was spot on and we were very happy that we took his advice. Jake Cockerton (Assistant Manager) managed the sale throughout and he was excellent. He kept me informed all the way, returning calls and emails promptly and always getting back to me with updates when he said he would. He was patient, professional, efficient and again very easy to deal with during what is a stressful process. Many thanks from a very happy customer!

I would like to thank Luke and then John and the rest of the team at Shoreham for the hard work and effort over the sale of my property, What should have been an easy sale took 9 months and three chains (all breaking at the bottom) each time I had a new offer within a few days. I had thought about using an on-line agency but it Jacobs Steel showed the benefits of having local staff who you could pop in and see and discuss things face to face.

I just want to thank Luke and his team at Jacobs Steel in Shoreham for their work on my purchase. I was desperate to be in before Christmas and we completed on the 1st December! The whole process from making my offer to completion happened in 7 weeks. Nothing was too much trouble and Luke and his team responded to my queries quickly and efficiently. This just proves if you have a good team behind you, these things CAN happen quickly. And just as a little add on, i have been in my flat one week today and yesterday i received a lovely lily plant as a welcome gift from Jacobs Steel! Originally, I had Jacob Steel round to provide a valuation and was already on with another agent. The other agent was friendly, professional but moving to Jacob Steel and in particular to Dom, the agent, was a superb move with hindsight. From the off, his level of communication was superb and he sold the property as opposed to just showing it. All the way through to completion, he displayed high levels of courtesy and professionalism to both me and the buyer and I cannot recommend him enough. Indeed, should his boss read this, he is well deserving of a bonus or drink and, should you be thinking of selling or buying in Shoreham, Jacobs Steele should be your first port of call.

Overall, selling and purchasing with Jacobs Steel was a good experience. The senior sales person provided good market insight and guidance. He also managed the offers efficiently to guide us to a buyer who was committed. After that, there were some minor frustrations with our prime contact changing several times. This was resolved fairly quickly and we then had a dedicated contact who kept us informed and proactive in driving the chain. Logistical elements were handled smoothly in terms of buyer visits to see property and key handover. Jacobs Steel also provided a solicitor recommendation and this proved to be an excellent recommendation. I would use Jacobs Steel again.

We changed to Jacobs Steel after using another estate agents as they seemed confident that they could do better and also sell our property before the stamp duty cut off. We were doubtful that they could do better but my god did they shine. We got 3 times as many people viewing our property than the other agents and they managed to sell before the stamp duty hit. We've recently sold and purchased through Jacobs Steel and they have been absolutely terrific. We've been dealing with Jake who's super friendly, professional and managing to get us the house of our dreams while also selling ours super quickly to a price we were happy with. Straight talking and honest, I have always felt at peace of mind and know that my sale/purchase was being looked after, even when it's been more difficult times in the process. Everyone in the office is always super nice and seem to be up to date with the case even though they're not directly dealing with it.
