We have just sold our flat through Jacobs Steel Shoreham. We can’t recommend them enough! We also went with their recommended solicitor and mortgage advisor, these were also amazing. We had a sale wrap through at the last hurdle. The team quickly remarketed the property and negotiated some time on our onward purchase to resell. We sold our home again and the sale went through in 5 weeks! Richard who is the sales progressor was also fantastic, his communication was excellent throughout, updating all parties. From the initial meeting with Matt at giving our property a valuation, we felt Jacob Steel would be the right choice and so glad we went with them! The service from Matt, Dom, Jake and Sharon was fantastic throughout. Dom is fantastic agent throughout showing us properties and selling our home, didn’t shy from conversations and was confident in giving his views. Whenever we’ve had to call JS Shoreham branch, they’ve been professional throughout and came through with agreed actions. Matt Balmer and his team were exceptional through out this difficult transaction. Selling two properties in a difficult market over 17month period. 2 probates, buyers pulling out and variouse periods of uncertainty from all.parties it was doomed to fail. Dom was very friendly and helpful when putting my flat on the market, and it’s always reassuring when you can have a genuine conversation about matching interests with your estate agent! Aden handled the organisation of the chain, who was also very genuine and set me up with their contact at a local removals company to see if they could fit me in with less than 3 weeks’ notice. Despite me losing my patience once at what eventually turned out to be a lack of communication elsewhere in the chain, Aden was still very friendly with me. I was hoping to apologise in person on completion day but he wasn’t working at the time, thank you Aden and sorry for blaming you on someone else’s mistake! The only negative from Jacobs Steel during the entire process was that I missed a call and received an email asking me to get in contact regarding exchange and completion dates. I was sent an email an hour later by my seller’s estate agent saying that they agreed to the dates proposed, even though I hadn’t had a chance to contact Jacobs Steel and explain that we weren’t ready as we were waiting on third parties. Following this, I entered a bit of a panic and had to contact multiple people to explain the situation and apologise for bursting everyone’s bubble. Other than that, I had a very pleasant experience with Jacobs Steel, who also sold me that flat 3.5 years ago!
