GoogleI would highly recommend instructing Justyn at Horton & Storey. He dealt with the purchase of my son's property on Dickens Heath and I can honestly say that during the whole process, Justyn kept us informed every step of the way. If we ever had any questions, he would revert straight back to the vendor to obtain the answers and if we wanted another viewing, he booked us in straightaway. Nothing was too much trouble. He also chased solicitors and was always one step ahead. The property completed in record time thanks to Justyn!. When we come to sell our house in the future, we will definitely instruct Horton & Storey. Very impressed with the service we received.

Communication was excellent at all times and having previously experienced trying to sell through other well known high street agencies, there was no comparison. GoogleReally good reviews uploaded on H&S, it is a shame i cannot add similar experience. I contacted the office just after 9am this morning to arrange viewing for a property. As i will be travelling from London specifically requested for weekend viewing and furnished proof of funds. By midday i contacted the office again to be offered a slot on Friday?. It is obvious there was lack of communication to find out after calling the office again that last appointment has been offered to another person and there is no slots offered. I am extremely disappointed in service, clearly incompetent!NegativeProfessionalism
Hi Mohibur- many thanks for your review. We are sorry we couldn't accommodate your weekend viewing. The reason was existing diary commitments limiting the time we could show you the property. I have reviewed the emails and conversations with the team. Regarding Saturday's request, the staff member offered you a time you couldn't attend as you booked another viewing in Handsworth, North Birmingham. The team member then provided you with a viewing on Friday as an alternative, which I agree was inappropriate and a miscommunication. During the interim, a viewing was booked in the diary on a different property for this time on Saturday, filling our diary for this weekend. When the staff member informed you that the dairy was complete, a third option considered alternative viewings between Christmas and New Year. You rejected these because you didn't want to travel from London for a single viewing, which is understandable. At Horton & Storey, we try to accommodate all viewings but cannot cancel current viewings due to individual timescales. I feel this review does not reflect the service we have provided to you. The review is centred around not receiving adequate time to view a property when our diary was close to capacity at the point of enquiry; this is unreasonable. You have subsequently inquired about the property again since leaving this review- if you wish to call the office to book a viewing, we would be happy to accommodate you. GoogleOk... So if your looking for your stereo typical estate agent... this ain't the place. H&S From first appointment till completion were personable, kind and really approachable and most important for me communicated very clearly very quickly.whilst going through a very stressful time.. buying/ selling during COVID they kept my head above the water... passed me the box of tissues and helped me keep the faith. Justyn and Tom.. offer a very personal service.. you get to speak to them..not signed up and left to pasture. Will every time back an independent small business in the local area... and would use them again 100% if I ever had to move again! NEVER AGAIN!..
