GoogleWe had our house up for sale through William h Brown in Shipley and although we decided to withdraw from our sale, Jessica, who dealt with our property was brilliant. She kept us updated, happy to answer any queries and responded very quickly to all emails. Can't fault them at all. We will certainly be using these guys to sell our home in the future when the market sorts itself out! Thanks guys

GoogleWould not recommend William H Brown at all, their rates are ~£400 more expensive than other local agents in the Shipley area and did not mention any VAT fees when talking through the initial price for their work (which was also sub-standard, buyer had to wait 2 weeks before getting an appointment to view the house with very little communication) Their fees in total were over £2K despite being told the fees were set at £1750, defo stay away from these estate agents

GoogleThe staff were fabulous especially Michelle. We were struggling to complete as the seller had a difficult solicitor. Michelle communicated all the time with progress reports and pushed for completion, going above and beyond.If we move again we would use them again. Highly recommended.

GoogleRecently sold my house with the Shipley office. I have found the service really professional throughout. All the staff i have dealt with have been friendly and approachable. Jessica, the branch manager, has always been on the end of the phone or email to provide honest, helpful advice, with all of my queries. I would recommend.

Googleabsolutely disgusting service!! Over 20 minutes late for an appointment after pestering me with reminders and a phone call in the morning, only to be told by the office they’re on there way from Shipley and the lady who arrived 20 minutes late said riddlesden!!! And for this they have the audacity to charge the homeowners a percentage!! I’d never sell with William h Brown I feel sorry for the people who have already dealt with them so far !! I feel any of the positive comments in here are from friends and family and as fake as the tales the make as excuse!!!

GoogleNo one showed up for my viewing. I made 4 phone calls to the office, all unanswered and left a voice mail. After 30 minutes of waiting and unanswered phone calls I had to give up and leave. This was at 10am and despite leaving a voicemail, no one phoned me back for the rest of the day. I was seriously interested in buying the property with this estate agency but they have now lost me as a buyer.

GoogleLuckily I live in Shipley, I had to run down to the office several times as they only seem to have 2 phone lines which are always busy. On one occasion, I was in the office when the seller called in to complain she hadn't been updated for ages despite me giving them updates to pass onto her. Worse when we were initially placing offers on the house it became apparent that our final offer was never passed on and we could have lost the house if we hadn't pursued it. Yesthere are some nice staff there but Iwouldn't touch them with a barge pole!!

GoogleImpossible to get through on the phone to arrange a viewing despite leaving numerous voicemails, and others have the same issue. If any potential vendors/sellers are looking to put their property on the market...please do yourselves a favour, read the feedback and avoid this estate agent like the Plague. Unless you don't want to sell your house in the end that is. Absolute joke.NegativeProfessionalism

GoogleCalled to arrange viewing, was told they don't know which day but took my details to call me back with viewing arranged. Never heard back. After 4 weeks called again for a different house and same thing happened again. Now i just avoid any property being sold through William h brown. Avoid at all cost unless you want to waste you time

GoogleI can not praise William H Brown enough. It took me 6 months to purchase a property due to red tape which was out of their controll. This company helped me with any issues that came up. They couldn't do enough to get things moving for me. Highly recommended.

GoogleWe were very happy with the service provided by William H Brown in Shipley. Louise especially was fantastic in keeping us well informed on progress and answering our questions. Our sale completed smoothly and we would be happy to recommend their services to anyone. We've also used the company's mortgage advice and conveyancing services and have been very impressed. Doing so has reduced stress and helped with communication all round!
