GoogleWe sold our house with William H Brown in Shipley, they helped and guided us with the complicated process of selling in England and Buying in Scotland which would have been much harder had we not had their in-house team helping us with our mortgage process also. James Storey was brilliant, he was always there at the end of the phone/email and found us the best mortgage in a short period of time, this enabled us to get the process moving across the border which would have been so much harder had we not had his help and advice. We would definitely recommend using James again.

Jess and Quinn kept us informed and updated whenever needed and dealt with any queries we had promptly. We cannot thank them enough for the service that they provided for us. GoogleI put in an offer in July, but could not view the property until lockdown restrictions had eased by August. As I live in Wiltshire it was difficult to organise hotel accommodation and public transport. Louise was very patient with me during my buying the property, skillfully negotiating with the vendor so I didn't lose the sale. She kept me informed every step of the way, and managed to get a reduction on the original purchase price for me. She was very professional, and made sure she was available as far as possible, to answer or return my phone calls, despite the office being very busy. GoogleI was asked to present an agreement in principle just to view a house from Shipley branch. I live in a house that was bought through William H. Brown and I have dealt with at least 10 other agents and it never happened. I find it not right to ask for my financial information before I even view the house. Despite me telling that if i like the house I could provide you with in the same minute but it was made an obligation. It’s purely the owners right to sell it to me or not but before that happens I need to see whether I like the house or not Once I like it I would definitely like to share my financial information. I think it’s purely a sales trap to get the best price and presenting it like financial qualification of the buyer.

GoogleOver the past year the shipley branch have successfully sold 3 houses for myself and members of my family. Sales were achieved within 2 weeks of marketing and a high level of interest in all 3 houses were shown. Martin provided high quality initial advice on the marketing and the girls in the office provided up to date information at each stage of the transaction. I therefore would have no hesitation in recommending the shipley branch to other clients.
