We had a very tight turnaround from the offer being accepted to moving in (roughly 2 months) and Spencer’s worked quickly with our solicitors to make this happen so thank you! Only negative was an email from Spencer’s with a slightly pushy tone, although this was quickly resolved and the rest of the communication was pleasant and constructive.

My attempt to sell the family house of 55 years was delayed for several months by Corvid virus restrictions. However as soon as it seemed possible I contacted 3 Estate Agents for valuations and although there's was not the highest I thought Spencers' was reliable and they seemed to have the most experience in my district. I was delighted with their very smooth and efficient service and with the expert and friendly advice provided. The viewings went well. Three potential purchasers were identified and without having an auction they were asked what their highest bid might be. Again I did not choose the highest bid but a very suitable family. They were always on hand to help expain anything we were unsure of, they were flexible and arranged viewings around us and, when lock down was fast approaching, helped ensure the completion happen promptly. The fact that they are a local agency helped too as they knew the area and understood the type of buyer our house would appeal to too. Lizzie, our case manager, was absolutely brilliant too. Always available to answer our questions, happy to feedback on the viewings and gave excellent advice on how best to show off our house, which helped us get offers over the asking price for our home. Recently moved into a new build apartment - bank apartments on abbydale road - no phone signal what so ever, no 4g signal and they have signed exclusive contracts with BT to supply the internet - for with BT open reach have not yet given access to. - non of this is disclosed until you sign - very much a sneaky process of give me you money then its not our problem. i would highly recommend thinking very carefully before signing any contracts with this estate agent.
