Hope and Shefflets were incredible at helping us move to our new home! The process was extremely simple and easy with everything being sorted in the matter of a week or so! Hope was also there to answer any questions we had. We would give 10/10 to Shefflets for such good service!

GoogleShefflets is the best estate agency I've ever dealt with. Firs of all - very polite staff. You don't wait long for your call to be answered. Maintenance man turns up quickly when something breaks down at home. I have to say that Shefflets is very fair with rent. I was charged only for a period from the day I gave them a notice to the day I move out. Others estate agencies charged me for the whole last month even I moved out two weeks earlier. Piotr (Peter)

GoogleThank what ever divine entity created Shefflets! They made my whole stay in Sheffield a smooth and hassle free experience. What ever the case was with the very few problems, whether it be maintenance or just helping me get back into the property after losing my keys on a night out, a phone call to the wizards and they would diligently and efficiently wiz the issue away. Even my hatred for lettings agencies was alleviated with the truly fantastic service they provided throughout my 3 year course at Hallam. They truly are the best letting agents in the Steel city. Would recommend.

GoogleThese are pictures of the bathroom of the penthouse rented to me by Shefflets when I moved in 2020. As can be seen, the general level of decor was truly awful.. mouldy and dirty. Despite leaving the flat in a much better condition than found and spending hundreds resealing and redecorating, I find myself charged for a toilet being slightly off centre (exactly the way it was found). Ultimately if they had a decent regulator, predatory estate agents such as this attempting to part tenants from deposits knowing they likely need the money quickly for future deposits would be struck off.

GoogleThe Shefflets team have been renting, managing and eventually sold my property over the past 8 years. I didn't encounter a single void month over the years the property was rented, and they consulted with me on any maintenance required. When it came time to sell, Shefflets marketed well and found buyer in short order. I have absolutely no reservation in recommending their services.

TrustpilotThe worst agent I have ever rented with
I rented with Shefflets for 14 months and it was the worst experience I have ever had with a landlord or agent in 27 years of renting, and the only time any of my security deposit has ever been kept. They were super efficient about getting my money, but did little to address the long list of issues that I had at the property. I'd say my average wait was 6 weeks, and then things generally only got resolved (often unsatisfactorily) if I badgered them. Despite my leaving the flat practically spotless (e.g. I didn't clean around one or two pairs of sockets to their satisfaction), they deducted £110 for cleaning (the full price they'd quoted to clean the whole flat if I'd done nothing) and charged another £45 to change one of three lightbulbs in a kitchen light fitting. The main (attic) bedroom was unusable for the majority of the tenancy as it had no carpet or insulation - it was 6 degrees one morning, with the heating on. Multiple requests for reduced rent to compensate were denied, but they made sure to take an extra few pounds when I left. I wouldn't have minded so much if they had been half as efficient when I was a tenant. Truly dreadful!

GoogleNever ever rent house from these guys,they are alright in the beginning,once you want to move out from the house,they will charge the money for unwanted reasons,and the staffs are rude they never reply to your emails and calls,worst experience
Hi Aby, I am sorry you feel this way, but we have communicated with you, your letting was very unusual with a bathroom issue that involved contractors and insurance companies. I believe if we did not have this problem you would have been happy to stay in this property with your family. We are sorry we could not continue the tenancy and you had to source alternative accommodation. Obviously you do not agree with the checkout and that is why your deposit is held in a government back scheme to protect you. We wish you all the best in your new home. Kind regards Shefflets.
