Shefflets have managed my property since 2010 during which time it has been continuously let with minimal void times between tenancies. All legal and letting processes are done properly and by the book including: Referencing; Deposit Protection; Inventory; end of tenancy checkouts and as a result I have never had a problem with a tenancy. All of the team at Shefflets are friendly and helpful.In summary (and I am not easy to please) these guys are the Rolls Royce of Letting Agencies, they set the standards that others should aspire to!

February 2022: Shefflets is punctual and responsive every time we needed them. Had teething issues with homeshift when we first moved in but since then it’s been great. I don’t think they use homeshift anymore anyway. Caring and unbiased agent. Would definitely recommend.

Definitely recommend Shefflets/Sheffsales

We have dealt with both Shefflets and Sheffsales, the former in 2019 when we were looking for a place to rent in Sheffield, and the latter in 2021 when our landlord sold the house were renting through them, and we also chose to sell a property we owned through them. On all occasions they were great to work with: friendly, understanding, flexible, helpful, full of good advice, and sympathetic when (through no fault of theirs) things didn’t go quite the way we were hoping. Their realism is a strength, as is their detailed local knowledge and the small size of their (very dedicated) team, which made communication easy. We definitely recommend them and would certainly use them again if we needed to rent or sell.

I was new to renting out a property and found Shefflets exceedingly helpful in the whole process of finding and managing tenants. They were quick to respond to issues that I had and sorted things out efficiently. They do listen to people and reply promptly to emails which is refreshing. When I decided to sell the property they provided an excellent service when setting up the sale details and managing the process from beginning to end. Olivia chased up those concerned when there were hold ups and was, I think, the person most responsible for getting the sale over the line.

Landlord´s review of Shefflets

I have been using Shefflets to rent my property for nigh on 13 years now. And they are a truly excellent and professional team. I have never once had any issue with them at all. As I live abroad I find they are one of the most communicative teams around, which is a great relief for me. I am instantly informed of any rental changes, or issues regarding my property. Aside from their tremendous work ethic, they are also a fun team to be linked to and they do have a great sense of humour, which is lovely as it makes you feel you are much more than just a landlord client to them.

Fantastic transparent agency

Fantastic agency to work with! It is my first experience of being a landlady (exciting!) and they have guided me through each step of the way. Very transparent and super friendly team, you interact with the same few people all the time so you get to know them quite well. They are prompt with arranging maintenance work on your behalf (useful if you don't actually live in Sheffield) and the quotes are reasonable. Overall would definitely recommend and will most likely stay with them for as long as I rent out my place! :)

As tenants, who have always paid our rent on time and maintained the property as if it was our own. We've found Shefflets treat their tenants with contempt, and are needlessly aggressive. We've found our experience with them isn't unique and would recommend caution, there are plenty more reputable agents in town.
