GoogleNever use these agents. Our house was filthy and falling apart when we moved in. They once ignored a leak coming through the ceiling in the kitchen until it caved in. On multiple times they have literally told me leaks in the house which I am looking at aren't there. When they do 'fix' things, its the cheapest botch job you can imagine. They didn't respond to me for weeks regarding the return of my deposit and only returned the money when I asked them (twice) for details of the tenancy deposit scheme which they are legally obliged to use - I suspect because they never used one.

GoogleStay well clear of this cowboy outfit. They'll take your deposit then say the property is no longer available and then you have to fight to get your deposit returned!! The staff are useless and of no help, they'll just keep fobbing you of!! I learnt the hard way.

Dear Allan we are sorry to hear you have felt this way but looking back at the emails the deposit was paid to secure the property until the relevant forms and tenancy had been signed but because we hadn't heard back from you after emails were sent we had to update the landlord on the situation. By the time you had contacted us back, the property was no longer available and due to the current situation we have been in with COVID 19 we are left with prospective tenants pulling out of properties they had intended to rent. We have been extremely busy since the market has picked up and accounts have been overwhelmed with payments but rest assure as a big company such as ourself we are not in the business to take money from clients and not return it but the process is usually within 90 days but despite this, Your deposit has been returned in full and if you want to confirm this you can contact us for proof from the accounts team.

GoogleI have been let down three times. Dont turn up for viewings or not having key to access property. I turned up to view a shop that has been advertised to let suddenly l was told " oh well. You cant, Landlord wants letting shop and flat above altogther" its just as bad.Bad management and bullied by greedy landlords. Staff lack the ability to update property details online. Such a waste of time, l wont spend my money with them

GoogleAbsolutely disgusted. First estate agent was late for viewing . Then the apartment was completely opposite to the pictures. Not 1 pictures was of the apartment. Complete waste of time. Feel like I have been scammed.

GoogleGreat Service provided by a very helpful and fantastic team! We have moved to another city now so had to end our tenancy contract. At that time Jonathon from Hallamhills Estate helped us a lot. He provided all our security money back within 90 days. They just deducted some cleaning charges but those were very nominal. I am really happy with their services. If we will again move to Sheffield, I would use their services again. Thanks team!

GoogleThe worst estate agents I have ever came across. Fraudulent, manipulative liars that operate beyond illegally. They have apartments in the Chesterfield town centre which bins are left on a main road outside the entrance to a Primark? Attracting mice and smelling foul. They do not pay council tax and the building is stealing water and electricity from the local businesses downstairs. How nobody has shut them down is beyond me. The staff are rude, incompetent and the biggest bullies I have ever encountered. In particular the main agents named Adam and Jonathan. I have numerous documented phone conversations with them laughing, hanging up and swearing at tenants on the phone, entering various tenants properties without consent. When it came to me surrendering my tenancy only a few months in, they refused to pay me my £500 deposit for over 2months of me vacating the premises, forcing me to take up the dispute with the DPS and battling a case for another 2months after that(Which ofcourse I won) lol. Overall, there's a folder with over 200 photos on my phone of all the issues that were wrong with my apartment at the time, unbelievable to think these fraudsters are still in business but I am sure i am out of there and sure as hell am NEVER going near them again. This is merely scratching the surface of the Hell I had to endure as a tenant for the short time I was a resident. Pleasepleasepleasepleasepleaseeeeeeee AVOID AT ALL COSTS. It physically hurt me to give a single star to these conmen. -12 stars

Im a student so had not gone through renting process before, Went into the office and they sat with us for ages showing us loads of houses online and booked time to go and have a look round. They gave us a copy of contract to take home and read and we went back with questions and they helped us understand it. Let us pay our deposits in instalments which helped us loads. When we moved in we had a few issues with the house it needed cleaning and the oven was broken but they did an invenotry and maintenacne came within 48 hours which we thought was ok. Have seen loads of reviews saying they dont register deposits which isn't true ours was with DPS and we got back in full -- but we did really clean the house when we left!! thank you!!

GoogleImpossible to contact, understaffed and incompetent. Emails are often ignored and all calls go to voice mail regardless of the time of day. The only option for contact is to go into the office in person where you can see two staff repeatedly pressing the redirect call button. When I requested a property reference for a future letting agent, they dragged the process out for 11 days, charged me £37, and lied to my face about the timeframe.
