GoogleI am a student at Sheffield Hallam University. I would like to commend Rachel from accounting for helping me with the final accounts for the apartment. My final exams at university were less stressful because Rachel relieved me of one less worry. I am grateful for their help and would recommend this agency to anyone. They have a great understanding for us students.

I visited the Hallam hills office yesterday. I phoned before hand to ask if I could come in and sign for a property at 2:15. I arrived with my partner and her parents to sign for the property. There were already three customers there talking. We stood for a few minutes before being asked to take a seat and someone would be with us. While we were waiting the agent took multiple incoming calls. After around 20 minutes we moved forwards to talk to the agent. He didn't ask for my details, referred to me by my first name, there wasn't enough room for my partners parents who are disabled to sit down, I was told to grab a chair that was a receptionists. The agent didn't introduce himself or provide any details and was generally rude and made me feel unimportant and bothersome. The agent made multiple phone calls without explaining what he was doing making my partner and I just sit there waiting for him. It took a while for the agent to find the property. When he did find it he proceeded to say he knew nothing about the property and phoned his colleague whom we had viewed the property with previously on the 16th. The agent we viewed the property with was called Adam. Once Adam had been called the agent we were talking to in the office still didn't know about the property. He phoned the landlord and had a conversation with him. After this conversation the agent then told us the property was being refurbished and as such it would be ninety pound more a month than the original price both online and what had be quoted to us at the viewing. This was false advertising and misrepresentation. When asking why this had happened, the agent just kept saying he didn't know much and was rather rude about it. We left the office after this. The agent didn't seem interested or care that my partner and I were visibly shocked and upset considering we are moving into a new property together for the first time and were ready to exchange money that day. The agent offered no apology at all, and simply went on with his phone calls and emails. We were more then willing to pay the administration fees or deposit to get the property off the market. We had cancelled three other viewings to go an sign for this property. We had drove down to Sheffield specifically to view multiple properties that day and we cancelled 3 to sign for that property. This was clearly not only unprofessional but disgusting and insulting. After driving back 2 hours back home we went straight back to looking for another property. We found that the property had been removed from right move and zoopla. The property had instead been re-listed on Hallam hills website. This clearly suggests that you knew you had done something wrong and changed it. I would like someone to contact me in regards to this. Preferably a manager or someone high up in the company. Below are pictures of the property at its advertised price and an edited part saying the property is no longer on the market. GoogleI dealt with Hallam Hills by phone for renting a property. They were very helpful, they sent me a walk through of the flat which allowed us to see it from overseas, then emailed the forms which we completed and sent back to secure the rental. This was a refreshing change from many agents in Sheffield who have said they can not rent with out an in person viewing.

Always ready to help and very honest. Will say it is by far one of the best estate agents in Sheffield as I have had very bad experiences from other agents.

GoogleUndoubtedly the worst letting agency I have ever dealt with in my life. These guys ensure that your already flimsy house in Broomhall is provided to you in the worst condition possible (mould everywhere, slugs crawling across the kitchen floor, leaks in the roof), and then let you suffer. Hope those who read my review steer clear of these guys. There is always other stuff on the market.

GoogleWe rented a property with them in 2022 and the service was great always sorted any maintenence issues out and had direct contact with contractors for hallamhills. Would definitely recommend hallamhills to all our friends and family. Jonathan and Adam were a pleasure to work with.

GoogleI was very busy in my work so i did not have many time to find a house. Hallam Hills agency is near from my office. There for i give this work to Hallam. They called me on saturday and shown me some houses. I little bit like quiet place so i chose a house not far from my office and market. I am quite happy with this company.

Right away Hallam was incredibly friendly and took time to sit down with me to determine what would be a good fit for us. She even recommended a lending agent in the area, which we ended up using and greatly appreciated.

My family was so excited to select houses what Hallam Hills shown us. Finally we come up with our dissection. Select a perfect house for us. We are now more comfortable then before.

GoogleI am giving a generous 2 stars because one of the staff that eventually called back was a very nice, friendly chap. Timothy, i think, was his name ! The Sheffield branch was a nightmare to get in touch with. The call kept going to head office. A whole week, I tried to get information on a property that was up for rent. Sorry, but not my way of dealing with potential customers. I realise they might have been busy, but no replies to either a number of phone calls or emails do not look good. I hope they are successful in turning businesses over?

GoogleAbsolutely useless. Said they would phone back with more details after I signed my interest in a property. Phoned up everyday asking for more information and they gave me different excuses each time. The 5th day of phoning up they told me the were holding more viewings and would phone me up Monday with an outcome. Hadn't heard anything by Monday dinnertime so I phoned them. They told me I would get an email by the end of the day. After not getting anything, I phoned up Tuesday to be told I wouldn't be getting the room I was after. Safe to say the place is a joke and it should be avoided like the plague. Would honestly give 0* if it was allowed...

GoogleWould give zero stars if it was possible. Rented with them in 2017 and already had a terrible experience. To make things worse, I recently found a CCJ for 10K on my credit report thanks to hallam hills opening an energy account in my name without my knowledge or consent, as bills were all included in the rent, and never closing it. I've been emailing/calling them for the past month and I was just met with rude, incompetent staff. THIS PEOPLE ARE SCAMMERS and probably do this on the regular with international students worst agency I have ever dealt with, don't trust them with your documents

Google"they are trying to cover bad reviews with good ones" I am agree with that. Be careful of your money back, because "Hallam Hills Ltd is not a member of a CMP (Client Money Protection Scheme)." (on company site) but you can use small clamis from gov site. crossed fingers. ♥♥♥

GoogleHallam hills is a good agency, they respond very well to the tenants, however they have limited property's in hands mostly all of there property's are exculding bills and council tax. This agency is good for students.

GoogleVery worst service was given.We were told to come for a house viewing through message we also confirmed through call but when we saw the house it was already occupied and neither the agent didn't appear and they told that they didn't know about it and apologized. When we asked for the fairness since we all left our work and went for viewing they even cut the call.
