GoogleThe team at Dove, and in particular Lindsay, have been totally professional and helpful throughout the rental process. My partner and I had previously had a less-than-great experience with another Sheffield-based letting agency, however our experience with Dove could not have been more different. Lindsay has been so accommodating from the beginning and made the process really stress-free. We felt that she really went the extra mile to help us out.
We have been in the property now for just over 4 months, and have had no issues whatsoever with Dove; in fact when we have had a problem/query they have been quick to respond and arrange for maintenance teams to attend.
If you are looking for a reliable and professional letting agency in Sheffield, I cannot recommend Dove highly enough.

Had a few problems throughout the year with Dove which took a lot of pressure to be sorted. The main issue was them trying to charge us a ridiculous amount out of our deposit for ‘cleaning’ despite the house being left in a excellent state and incredibly better than when we moved in. We disputed this with Dove and after numerous emails and phone calls we managed to get this cost down, they clearly just want people to roll over and accept the fee to scam you out of money. Make sure you pressure them to give you back your deposit!
Individuals at Dove are nice enough but as a company I would not recommend

Please be assured that we do not benefit from deducting money from tenants deposits and only deduct money where we feel that it is necessary to cover damages or cleaning costs etc. Tenants are given the opportunity to dispute the deductions and we always consider any evidence etc that is provided. GoogleAwful company who robs students money at every chance. They where slow to reply and even slower for any maintenance or problems. And when they eventually got round to fixing any problems there was never any notice until the builders where banging on your door. I was electrocuted but they didn't care and still tried to charge us money at the end of the year. Avoid dove at all costs and would recommend any other letting agency such as Thornsett or PA properties.
