GoogleWas a pleasant experience hunting for a student house with dove, we found one we liked rung up got the contract and signed the same day. We obviously were under the impression that the house was ours and we wouldn’t have to keep looking, we made plans regarding the house and we’re so excited, 2 weeks later we ring up to check the process and we’re informed that another group had applied and it was between them and us. We were so disheartened but had hope, we rung up every day hoping to hear and they kept telling us they didn’t know. 2 weeks later after phoning every day they finally email to tell us the other group had been selected. This is so frustrating as we are all uni students with jobs we don’t have time to try find another house plus with how long we have been dragged along most of the houses are gone. Communication isn’t great and I wouldn’t go with them again.

Naturally it is disappointing to receive a review of this nature as we always aim to provide our customers with a high level of customer service. It is great that your experience of looking for a property with us was positive and I would ask you to reconsider if a 1 * review is accurate with that in mind. I have looked into the circumstances regarding your review to ascertain what happened and I understand that having decided on a property to rent we sent you the application forms to complete. These application forms are not the actual tenancy agreement and the email we send along with the application forms does state that the property continues to be marketed until the application process is complete. It is unfortunate that another group also applied for the property which we made your group aware of. This second group managed to get all of their information back to us first and the landlord agreed to proceed with them. I know that since this experience, you completed the application process with us for another property which we had reserved for you and you have since decided that the property Is not quite right. Please don’t hesitate to contact us should you still need assistance in looking for a property. We wish you the best of luck in the future.
