GoogleJust signed for a studio flat starting in June - specifically with the help of Emily-Rose who has been very helpful and informative with all the necessary details. She has been very quick with responses to any questions that I’ve had about the tenancy and has made the whole process so much easier than I would have expected. Would recommend signing with Dove Properties (specifically the Challenge Works building); their flats are in an ideal location for students with both universities being nearby and lots of pubs and bars not far away either.

GoogleAs a student I have recieved terrible customer service from Dove. We have moved into a house with; mould, marks and damage on walls from previous tenants. For over 2 months we have been asking Dove to decorate our house before we start university again in September. Absolutely appalling service from Dove, with poor communication from both the LandLord and the Project Manager. It’s not acceptable to expect students to live in a house with mould, whilst still taking rent payments . Would not recommend!

Dear Lily I hope you are well and am sorry to see such a review. We always aim to offer a high level of customer service so naturally it is disappointing for the company when a valued customer feels like this. We would like to clarify from your review that upon your report of mould in the property, a damp specialist was instructed to visit and confirmed no mould was present but did advise that there was a water stain from a historic issue with the bay window which had been resolved. As managing agents, we are unable to authorise large scale redecoration without the approval of the landlord. Doves property management team have been communicating with your landlord and obtained quotes for the redecoration that you requested after you moved into the property and have had approval from the landlord. We did attempt to call you on Friday before receiving this review to advise that the quote had been approved and to make arrangements for the decorators to attend. Unfortunately the call was not picked up so we left a voicemail. I understand that the decorators have now been instructed and a convenient time and date for them to begin the work has been agreed with you. With this in mind I would ask you to reconsider if you think a 1* review of Dove is deserved. I hope that you are happy with the resolution and that you continue to enjoy the rest of your time in the property. Thankyou

GoogleWe are a group of international students who knew nothing about renting a house in the UK. However, Emma was really helpful and made everything easy and clear for us. The renting process was simpler than we expected with Dove, thank you a lot Emma and Jodi!!
