So I saw the house of my dreams this morning online and immediately booked a viewing for the first possible time I'd be able to do, which was 5pm on a Friday, yikes, Angela came and met us there with the biggest smile on her face which was so refreshing, I did apologise straight away for bringing her out at that time and she just smiled and said no worries at all and that she had a viewing later on anyway, she didnt mind how long we took looking around and was so knowledgeable about the property, she gave us the facts and the realities which is exactly what people need to hear and I can tell she is so genuine, she must sell so many houses what a lovely girl, there's not much that would usually stop me in my tracks from a friday beverage but I needed to come on and write a review because I am in sales too and sales is HARD at the best of times and can be so emotionally draining so credit where credit is due, we havent even offered yet but will be doing so! Thanks Angela, hopefully you get a chance for a glass of vino at the weekend you deserve it! Hol and Dom xx (plus overbearing parents) ;)

Although things seemed a little slow to start with our sale, things did pick up as time went on. Unfortunately we just missed the cut off for no/reduced stamp duty. Chloe was very helpful and kept in touch along the way to update and advise us regarding our sale. Overall a very good service.

Property Valuation

Hedley came to view our property. He was prompt, introduced himself and the company prior to viewing. He was professional and respectful at all times and only proceeded to view when asked to do so. Throughout, he was engaging - asking only appropriate and relevant questions. He even shared some of his views and visions on the future prospects of our home and what new buyers would be looking for, which I found very interesting. He had clearly done his homework/research prior and provided me with an expected and realistic valuation. He provided some advice about "pre-sale clearouts" to promote a better selling opportunity - again which I found extremely useful. All in all - a very positive experience. Thank you.

From a buyers point of view, they are the estate agents to avoid.

Too much stressful experience. Throughout the process, there were allegations being put on us as to if we were non-serious buyers. No polite way to communicate. Always questioning and that too as if you are being instructed to do it asap. On the day of completion, no way to organise the hand over of keys. The estate agent didn't picked our phone and we had to stand outside the house for an hour in cold with a one year old. Totally unacceptable behavior

Why is it so difficult to view a house…

Why is it so difficult to view a house and they give you so little time for such a big purchase. You wait a week to view , they take ages to get back to you and you can do it Mon-Fri 9-5 , and you work like most people full time , do you have to take a day off everytime you want to view Catch up with modern life evenings and weekends !

I reserved a plot in stainforth in feb…

I reserved a plot in stainforth in feb 22, got a mortgage offer in July what lasts till dec 22 and was going to use the help to buy. The reservation agreed that the house will be built by autumn 22. After sending several emails to the sales manager asking what is happening and getting no replies I went to have a look at the site. The site is half done and my plot 1000% won’t be built by autumn 22 therefore looking out on the government incentives and my mortgage offer. I have emailed loads of times to ask what is happening but still no reply, I am trying to request my reservation fee back but can’t get through to any one still. It has been embarrassing from start to finish from the sales team- Sophie and Adam. I’m a first time buyer and this has put me off buying. There has been nothing buy trouble and messing about with them and the site. Poorly managed and poorly sold by Preston baker. I’m not one for drama but has I’ve had no replies and can’t formally complain on there website I’ve reverted to this. Just want to add. I’d give 5 out of 5 stars to the mortgage advisor for Preston baker but the sales team and how they have managed me is terrible and wrong.

Never disappointed in Preston Baker …

I would never use anyone other than Preston Baker, they’ve been our Estate Agent a few times now and they have been so helpful, productive & get the job done! We’ve sold niche properties (equestrian) and they get the right people through the door, they don’t just rely on Rightmove to do the work, they target the proper audience, I have 100% faith in them so if you use them and be prepared to sell or buy quickly!!

Very impressed by Preston Baker and by Chloe throughout the process. The Property Launch was definitely worthwhile as it made the process of booking in and running viewings completely stress free for us. Original sale fell through and we were extremely impressed with how promptly the property was remarketed and viewings booked in again, especially as they tried to replicate the property launch again as much as possible, with viewings booked together. Chloe kept us up to date through the process right through to completion. Not the cheapest but definitely worth the money in our opinion.

We couldn’t fault the service we received. Julien and Marcus were available to answer our many questions, often responding out of standard hours. Throughout the process we felt confident that the sale of our house was in good hands and that everything possible was been done. Don't hesitate just go with them

We are selling our house through another estate agent however we are buying through Preston Baker amd there 1 million times better than our current agent they are prompt nothing is too much for them you don't have to chase things there on the ball with everything Racheal dealt with the first part this was then passed to Amelia who will continue the sale. If Racheal wasn't in we dealt with Ethan this company is customer focused and really driven to deliver the best client experience we hope we don't move again but if we did Preston Baker is not a name we would forget and we wouldnt hesitate to use them FANTASTIC SERVICE

I have been communicating with Tony Taylor about properties that I might be interested in. He has been very good and detailed in his selection process and has been forwarding me ideal properties that I can view. I’ve been impressed with his professionalism and the selections that he has made have been very appropriate. I could not recommend this service more. Also, on this particular day, Tony had recommended that I make it to a viewing. I spoke to Arnus, who was very helpful in arranging a viewing for me on the same day.
