We had a great experience selling our house with Preston Baker. From the initial valuation, where the whole process was explained and through to the brilliant photos taken pre launch when Elle took over as our Client service manager.She was really supportive throughout the whole process, from leading the property launch, keeping us informed all the way, and answering any questions I had. She also made sure she was up to date with the whole chain's activities and chased people up when needed. She provided a great service all the way through.

Would not recommend! Had a valuation done with these people to sell my mothers house. They rang me last year to see if we'd sold the property as they were still interested in selling it. We SOLD it 9 years ago!!!!!! She's been dead years! This is how upto date their database is!!!!! Recently I emailed them for property details as it wasn't on their website. I'm still waiting a reply!!!!

We are currently buying and selling with Preston Baker and have had a really positive experience. After finding a house we loved, we needed to get our house sold quickly and Preston Baker have been so helpful and organised in getting our house sold. The launch events are a great way of getting the maximum number of people through the door. Naomi and Rachel have both been brilliant and kept us fully informed through the whole process. They have always been really easy to talk to and helpful with any questions we had. I’m really glad we chose Preston Baker and feel confident in their handling of both the sale of our house and the purchase of our new one.

Well what can I say? To say Louise wasn't working for me most days it felt like she did! If anyone asks who to sell their house through I would say Preston Baker at Selby - the whole team have been good, Louise however excelled herself EVERYDAY! Don't market with just anyone market with the best!

The team at Preston Baker are the best! I was a very nervous seller after being stung once before when trying to sell my house. The team from day one at valuation have been personable, friendly and most importantly for me, happy to answer my many questions. I never believed my house would sell and couldn't believe it once we received an offer only 2 days after veiwing. The unique approach used for veiwings is perfect for anybody that works from home. I would recommend both the Preston Baker estate agency team and the mortgage advisory service to everybody and I know if I ever need to sell a house again, they will be the first call!

Preston Baker have excellent standards in customer service. I work for a gas company that have worked along side with Preston Baker for many years to do any plumbing and gas works, and I can safely say that the maintenance team provide a rapid service, to a very high standard. We were dealing with the estate for a deceased relative, this made the sale difficult with regards to probate etc, however during that period Preston Baker were excellent throughout as we were only in a position to complete on selling the property for the third time due to the 8 month probate period .

We have just exchanged on a house and with Preston Baker acting as agent on our purchase. I feel compelled to write this review because Rachel Lansdell from the Moortown office was more proactive then anyone else working on this to help push things along. In comparison we haven't heard anything from our sales agent (different firm) at all throughout the process! Rachel pressed Solicitors and the chain to move things forward and communication was great throughout. We will absolutely use Preston Baker for our next purchase based on this experience.

Unreliable, untrustworthy, greedy and unrepentant. We had already lost a house that an offer had been accepted on via Preston Baker, although this often happens, the way in which it occurred we put down to the unprofessional attitude of the agent. We found a second house that an offer was accepted on and was assured that the vender wasn't as unpredictable as the first. Unfortunately after the sale was agreed the vendor failed to find another property. We were left waiting .... and waiting ..... and waiting. Our guess was that the vendor was waiting for us to pull out so that the property could be put back on the market for a higher price (enough time had passed for a significant rise in the value of the house). What we didn't expect was for Preston Baker to re-represent the vendor and the sale at a higher price after having already agreed a sale with us. We are aware that the market can be cruel and unforgiving. But we expected the agent to have some integrity. We lost a substantial amount of time and money because Preston Baker after having agreed a sale went back on their word and were only too happy to represent a misleading vendor and sale. Locating a new home can be an extremely stressful experience. It's vital that you can work with people you trust.

We've experienced slow service with Preston Baker Selby branch, it is very hard to get in touch with the assigned agent, most of the time they just don't answer calls, while other agents cannot give any information on the progress. We thought it would be a smooth transaction as first-time, no-chain buyers without any complications. However, we had to wait weeks and weeks to proceed with each step of the deal which was especially annoying when this step merely involved sending papers over to solicitors (took almost 2 weeks) which after all turned out to be incomplete. Overall, expect long delays and not much communication when dealing with them.

I just want to put on record the fantastic job which Chloe Huffington did for our very complex and lengthy house sale.Chloe started on our sale back in October 2019, 15 months ago and has been a vital assistance to us throughout this long & very difficult period of Covid-19, where we lost 3 buyers.However in each case, Chloe acted brilliantly as the bridge between ourselves as the Vendors and our buyers. I think we had about 40 viewings in total , and thanks go to both Chloe and also all the other Preston Baker offices (Selby, Leeds, even the Head Office, who all helped relay messages and coordinate our house viewings.)Chloe’s expert communication skills, prompt action, clear instructions and superb organisation helped enormously to deal with our buyers progressing our house sale(s) effectively each time.In particular she was the key link between ourselves and our “4th and final” buyer, who was extremely difficult to get hold of, but somehow Chloe managed to get him to respond and keep the sale process moving.I would be very happy to recommend Preston Baker to any of my friends and family.
