The dreadful service reviews are the more accurate. I am a trustee of a property portfolio. Over several years PB harassed over properties sold or let years before, ignoring notice to remove the references on file. PB appear to use sales canvassers with out of date information and glib sales techniques. Valuation appointments were regularly missed without notification; valuations were not provided following visits; false accounts were provided to justify missed appointments. Director Jessica Fox now states PB are not able to value for distant property owners unable to attend in person; ruling out portfolio trustees and remote holders. Working to a formula of badly constructed sales pitches and unable to justify claimed skills and standards; this firm should be avoided.

Helpful and friendly staff!

Helpful and friendly staff!I recently found myself in the Preston Baker Moortown office during a torrential thunder storm, the staff let me dry off and shelter from the rain! The two guys in the Moortown office, Chris and Kestyn, were so kind and helpful! (I was lost on the way to a job interview and they helped me get to my interview and I got the job!!) Would highly recommend for great customer service.

Very poor customer service!!!After initial enquiry on Monday I am no further forward securing a viewing!! Very abrupt customer service assistant. Did not reply to enquiries either email or phone. Think twice before using. The one star is for the other assistant I spoke to. Very helpful.PS: I have just been given the info I need in 2 minutes so why am I still waiting from info from Preston Baker!!!!!

Preston Baker have provided excellent customer service throughout the process. Marketing and communication has been superb and the house sold close to asking within a few weeks. We have felt well supported by Jess and Ben to date and Vishal gave some valuable mortgage advise. Very helpful and supportive too of our ongoing purchase with another estate agent. I can't begin to overstate just how much Preston Baker played a major role in helping us plough through the maze of buying and selling a property. From the moment motivational Julie came in to us for a valuation, to the personality plus of Chanel (who secured 6 offers in a single day), to lovely Clara in the office, always reassuring, and, of course, to Rachel, above all, whose constant determination to be with us all the way is beyond comparison. There are a number of new "look at us" agents in the market, brash, seeking to undervalue for a quick return, but Preston Baker are the ultra professionals.

Dreadful service.

My sister signed up with this company in May 2022 to sell her house and also for them to provide information about houses for sale in her chosen area and price bracket. She paid an up front, non-refundable fee of £5,000. They have done virtually nothing in the way of work for this fee. They took some photos but haven't yet produced a brochure. They gave her details of a handful of houses, most of which were way above her price bracket. She is very unhappy with the service. We sent an email of complaint but received no reply. She has phoned on many occasions, people promise to call back, but nothing is resolved. On the odd occasion when someone ddoes talk to her they don't listen and over talk. My sister is 74 years old, not in great health and isn't computer literate, so we feel she has been taken advantage of. We are now in the process of complaining to the Ombudsman Property Scheme.

Customer service experience bad

Customer service experience wasn’t even near good. Once sale agreed they didn’t care and the sale progressor Ashley simply worked only for the vendor, despite making out he wanted to slag them off! And when picking up the keys for our new home the welcome was very weak, you think they would be excited to hand out keys to new vendors. Never got calls back or emails for days on end. Disappointed.

Great service and knowledgable staff

I have been dealing with Jess and Eloise at the Headingley branch. Although I have not found a house through them yet, the two girls are always ringing me about new properties. Both girls are enthusiastic and extremely knowledgable, more so than other estate agents I have dealt with. The branch manager, Jess Fox, was also extremely welcoming, helpful and professional. I am sure I will buy through Preston Baker soon.
