GoogleHaving spent over £80.00 in travel costs not including the petrol to view a property we were incredulous that someone could write such a misleading description of a property. We spoke to the agent before deciding to view and was told that it may need a bit of decorating! On arrival not only were we left standing around for 10 mins while the viewing agent sat in side drinking tea and chatting but the property needed a new roof and a complete refurbishment. The viewing agent had no knowledge of property and could not even tell us where the boundaries were. It had a footpath incorrectly marked on the map which run through the stable yard and a bridleway running straight through your front garden. Very rude when we complained that we were mislead apparently it was our fault!!. Would not recommend using this agent.

I didn't start off with Fox Grant as their valuation was below that of others but with few viewings and no takers I quickly realised that other agents had inflated the value to secure my custom. Having had no real interest I changed to Fox Grant and was looked after by Adam Field.As well as being realistic as to value he was motivated and kept in regular contact with updates. A very pleasant company to deal with and my property successfully sold.

My main reason for giving 5 * to Fox Grant is Adam Field, (although there's some very good admin. staff in his office too). He is intelligent, professional, listens, actually tries to understand clients, has integrity, honesty, a sense of humour that he keeps under control if you want him to, and goes the extra mile whether you're selling or buying. We've known him for 9 years (during which time we've bought and sold a few times) and have just sold our house through Fox Grant in Wiltshire. Adam found really good buyers, managed the sale brilliantly, and was always a pleasure to deal with, as usual. Would I use them again? Absolutely. And there's no other estate agent I'd say that about.

The wonderful staff from the Fox Grant Sherborne office (James and Canti) were a great team! They returned my calls promptly, were efficient, helpful, understanding, calm and knowledgable about the rather "uncertain housing market," during the time our house was on the market. They kept us informed at all times, and were endlessly patient with some difficult potential buyers who kept changing their minds! The people who eventually bought our house even told us how delighted they were with the help given tto hem by James and Canti. I would recommend Fox Grant because they gave a very personal service and made what could have been a traumatic experience (after 26 years living in our much loved home), much more plesent than expected!

I went with Fox Grant because they proposed a promotion and sale by sealed bids on a specific date and they had a good equestrian reputation.Instead I got random low offers mostly from non equestrians, as I was in a hurry to sell I had to take a low offer from someone who had no interest in the land who took ages to complete despite being a "cash" buyer. I had 2 better offers from "walk ins" after I had accepted this offer. So I know money was left on the table.
Thank you for taking the time to review Fox Grant, we really appreciate your feedback and I am sorry to hear that on this occasion we didn't meet your expectations.Whilst we do have a strong equestrian reputation and advertised the property through the equestrian channels available to us including Horse & Hound and New Forest Equestrian Directory, we unfortunately can’t guarantee that the buyer will want to use the land for the keeping of horses.The purchaser on paper was a good buyer with a very short chain and no finance required. We purchased a property through Fox and Grant recently, the purchase took just short of a year due to land registry complications. We felt we received excellent service from start to finish, the team always had time to explain details of the purchase to us and Adam would always phone us back if we needed more information. In 2015 Fox Grant were successful in securing the sale of our equestrian business, land and house to a single buyer at the price we required. Selling a business isn't easy at the best of times, and when it is bundled together with your home and land it could be a real nightmare without the right agents to guide you through the process. Fox Grant were able to demonstrate their huge experience in this area and guide us through each stage of the process to ensure that we were able to make the best return on the sale. Numerous other similar businesses were also on the market locally, but with the support of William and Adam we felt that we were always a more attractive option to buyers thanks to the way the sale was packaged and presented. All aspects were first class, from the marketing materials and brochures we had produced to the features in industry press which Fox Grant were able to secure. The personal service and hands-on manner of the team made a real difference to us and I will not hesitate in recommending Fox Grant. They will be my first call should we be needing any advice with property or land in the future and will definitely be handling any future sales.

We bought our house through Fox Grant and were very impressed with the service provided. Phil facilitated at several levels, and by doing so ensured that both buyer and seller were kept happy and the transaction happened as smoothly as possible, and he even helped us organise practical things to ensure we could enjoy our new house. All at Fox Grant in fact were very good, I just wish we could have had such an estate agent to sell our previous property.

We have just sold our farmhouse through Fox Grant Sherborne + have nothing but praise for James + Cantie . Although a small team , they worked very professionally at all times , feedback was swift , and they took charge of all the viewings , which worked extremely well . We cannot fault them - and have to say Cantie's skills as a photographer are fab - the brochure surpassed one previously shot by a professional ! Don't go anywhere else !!

Both James(Jimmy) and Cantie have over the past 2 years:Yes it took that long to sell the cottage; shown how patient,determined and driven to success they both are. The cottage was sold 7 times before reaching a conclusion, but Fox Grant hung on in there to the end.They were sympathetic and informative giving good sound advise at all times dealing with myself and family and difficult clients. I would have no hesitation in recommending them to any prospective clients.

Sorry it has taken so long to write this review. Fox grant sold my property last year, after several other agents failed to find a buyer. They were first class in the whole sale, even though my property was in Devon, the distance was not a problem, so if you have a property to sell anywhere in the southwest, then I would fully recommend you give them a call .I have never regretted using them,Philip Bell.
