After researching and meeting several local estate agents, Carter and May were the clear choice as the agent to use to sell my house. Once the house was on the market it took no time at all to sell. The next property we bought was also through Carter and May. The purchase was not without its bumps along the way (solicitors etc), but the team at Carter and May were always extremely helpful and went above and beyond to ensure the smoothest process possible. A special thank you should go to Charlie and to Tim. With them, we always felt that we were in the best of hands and they always had our best interest at heart.

His exceptional communication and professionalism has ensured our sales process has been successful from start to finish even tho it’s had its ups and downs with a complicated chain involving difficult customers, estate agents and solicitors. Ben has managed to secure us a very happy buyer where other local agents haven’t been able to do so in the past. Stop putting up your for sale signs in My property *UPDATE* Following my above comment the owner/director contacted me requesting I edit this review "to state the facts" This company placed their sold sign in my property when my house was still for sale with another agent, this did not only affect the sale of my house, it is also illegal. I attempted to contact them multiple times but no reply. We have now been threatened with legal action unless I remove my original review. It makes me wonder how many other people have been threatened with legal action for submitting a review based on an interaction with this Owner/Director of the company.

As everybody knows, moving is very stressing. BEN has made such a difference all the way through our experience! BEN kept us informed every step throughout the whole process. It seems to be a very professional staff when you first contact them, sold my house through them and although they were very approachable and kin to help with everything, they were pushing and over stressing not just the new buyers but also myself, making up legal situations, lying to both parties to get a contract signed. Real shame, they just care about the business. Worst customer service ever! Never again. Won’t recommend it at all.

After being on the market with a local agent in Fordingbridge for 9 months and receiving a odd call from them and only 2 viewings i lost my faith in agents. I had received two letters from Carter and May i thought lets just give them ago. Ben came round, positve full of energy and explained what he would do and what he would change.
