I’ve been holding of on a review to see if things get better but now 4 months in I can say overall not had a great experience with this letting agency. I don’t normally review so for me to do this means I’m fed up. It’s hard to tell whether the issues stems from the landlord or the agency, but overall, it’s been frustrating. While some of my requests do eventually get resolved, the delays are so long that it becomes mentally draining. This is just my personal experience with the letting managers, others might have better luck. Giving 2 stars instead of 1 as things do get done eventually.

In my opinion Reeds Rains Salford Quays have some of the most unprofessional and incompetent staff I have ever come across. A firm that is confused over an invoice and takes months to issue one correctly is one that makes me question their legitimacy and competence. In my opinion Amber Tildesley is highly unprofessional, very rude and it is advisable to avoid at all costs, unless you want to be pestered, patronised and threatened. Formal complaint pending.

Ali is just exceptional - no ordinary property negotiator for sure! What makes him different is his professionalism (and of course his big and sincere smile). He tailors his service to his costumers, taking care of their needs whilst considering their background. His knowledge in properties around the area is very good. He is also extremely honest in providing opinions - very rare to find someone this neutral and of integrity in Estate and Letting. My experience with flat hunting was certainly made less stressful with the help of Ali. He's well deserved for a pay rise!

Nothing ever got fixed, including a window that couldn't close and a heating system that didn't work AND they tried to charge us for everything wrong with the flat when we left even though we had documented every issue on arrival and reported every issue during our stay. There was a mould problem as the bathroom fan did not work, and at times they would not even respond to our calls or emails. They deferred responsibility to a landlord they and we could not contact leading to a thoroughly unacceptable living situation. They also have refused to help us forward any mail that we have received since moving, even going so far as to remove the forwarding address we left on the kitchen fridge for future tenants.

As a first time buyer, i found Reeds Rains extremely accommodating throughout the whole process. Estate agent Jabeen was always extremely helpful and friendly at all times, helping to answer any questions or concerns that i had. Even when Jabeen was out of the office my queries were always picked up by her colleague Laura, which i found very reassuring. I would go with Reeds Rains again - the estate agent part of the buying process was definitely the most stress free as a result of Jabeen's brilliant customer service. Thank you!
