I have rented by apartment in Salford Quays with Reeds and Rains for 9 years now and they have fully managed the property too. In this time, they have been excellent in terms of their customer service; guidance; advice; property management; and tenant recruitment. In the 9 years, I think the property has only been vacant for 5-10 days which shows how great they are in advertising the property and tenant recruitment. Amber Tildesley has been my main point of contact and she has been brilliant, going over and beyond to help and advice me regarding anything about my property. As a landlord, renting a property can be daunting and stressful but Amber has made that a lot more easier than expected. If anyone is thinking to renting their property in Salford Quays, I highly recommend Amber, Ian and the team at Reeds and Rains. Their service is excellent and they are very professional.

I used Reeds Rains Estate Agents Salford Quays for the sale of my property. I had a very good impression and experience from my first Interaction with Todd regarding the valuation and approach, through the sales process with Kirsty (and the team), both of whom where knowledgable, helpful and responsive. Once a sale was accepted the sales progression was managed superbly by Laura, who kept everything on track and kept all parties informed and on task through to a successful completion. Absolutely excellent service from start to finish. I was looking for an apartment for some time and found the process so frustrating. That was before i found Reeds Rains. Initial viewing was arranged quickly (thanks Jessica!) and the application was processed efficiently with the result i moved in within weeks of the first viewing. The legal documentation was produced via their online tenants portal which is excellent by the way! Love the property and cannot praise the team at Reeds Rains, in particular Jessica and Ian who were magnificent throughout!

Dealt with Jess from beginning to end to rent a 2 bedroom flat with my friend and I must say she was very helpful all the way through, she responded to all requests promptly and managed to resolve an issue with a bed not being there, she sent over dimensions of the room when requested to and always returned my calls. Would happily use again. The only reason this isn’t a five star review is because everything was done electronically which I don’t like, I prefer to go in and personally deal with the estate agent as it makes things a lot warmer and friendlier and adds the personal touch. Apart from that all great!

I had a very disappointing expereince with the Reeds Rains Salford Quays office. I was in the market to rent a 1 bedroom flat. At the property viewing, the agent mentioned that rental property was currently up for sale, but it wouldn't impact the rental process. I didn't think much of it as I figured the agency & current landlord would be responsible enough to refrain from putting the property on the rental market, if there was any uncertainty, to ensure a prospective tenant wasn't left in a difficult situation. Unfortunately, I was wrong. I had placed a holding deposit, gone through referencing, etc. only to be told 10 days before move in that the property had been sold and the new landlord was not willing to rent it. This left me without a place to go, and forced me to scramble to find accomodation. The agency denied any knowledge of the property being up for sale, but that doesn't fit with what I was told at the initial viewing. For any prospective tenants, don't trust this place.

We recently purchased an apartment in Eccles, via Reeds Rains, Salford Quays. For various reasons (nothing to do with Reeds Rains), the purchase took over 9 months to complete. Throughout this time Laura was extremely helpful, both in enabling us to visit the property on several occasions, and also in chasing up the seller, when it seemed that both sets of solicitors were just letting things slip. Without her help, I can't help thinking the process would have taken more than 9 months.

Absolutely shocking service. I handed my keys back on May 23rd, but I didn’t see my deposit until June 17th. Every time I chased, I got the same excuse that it’d be sorted “by the end of the day,” but it never was. The contractors they used for repairs were useless. Nothing ever got fixed properly, and they had to be called back for the same issues over and over. Then they had the nerve to take a chunk out of my deposit for cleaning, even though the property had a thorough clean before I vacated. Considering I paid my rent on time every month and they had no delays taking my deposit to begin with, the way they handled things was disgusting. Avoid Reeds Rains at all costs!
