Joe Baggs, who we had the most dealings with was friendly and very helpful always answering our questions quickly and efficiently. The manager Helen was equally as lovely. We are both tenants and property buyers with Intercounty and we highly recommend them. Sharon, Alex, Rosie, Adam, Julie and the entire team are a pleasure to deal with. They always get back to us quickly with recommendations for service providers or solicitors as well as are being flexible when we need any changes to appointments or viewings. They also stay on top of us and make sure that conveyancing process moves forward. Having experience as tenants with them, we would also recommend Intercounty as property managers. Had to get to Saffron Walden for 8am from London, but due to a person on the line, what should have been an easy journey, turned into a nightmare. Eventually got to Saffron Walden and called Eloise. She very kindly, picked me up, took me to the flat, then took me to Audley End station. I am beyond grateful to Eloise for her kindness, generosity of spirit and expertise. "This is the first time I have rented through Intercounty Saffron Walden, and I must say that everything went very smoothly. Recently, we experienced an issue with the washing machine, and the timing couldn't have been worse, as it happened towards the end of the year when things are typically slower. Blake was fantastic throughout our letting process. He gave us suggestions on how to better our chances with applications as we have a small dog. He went above and beyond, suggesting a property that wasn't listed yet and fought our corner with the landlord which ultimately landed us the tenancy. I would say that Intercounty is the best estate agent I've ever dealt with.

Joyous Jac! Intercounty have been nothing but fantastic throughout my entire rental process. Jac has been outstanding, and is a credit to the company! She was polite and friendly, and nothing was ever too much hassle for her. She was extremely quick to reply to emails, and made any amendments without fuss. She was just wonderful to liaise with and I didn't feel any pressure or 'like a nuisance' emailing her all the time, like some people would make you feel.She has been an absolute pleasure to deal with, and always had the answers to my questions, which was extremely reassuring.The whole rental process was quick to sort out, and relatively painless. All documents were done online (including identity checks and proof of earnings) which made my life so much easier, and DocuSign was even mobile friendly, meaning it could be done quickly and easily, which was a bonus! Everything was sent via email so I could safely file anything away, and amendments were also updated and re-signed where needed, literally in the space of an hour, Jac was so 'on it'! I cannot recommend them enough, especially compared to the other estate agents in Saffron Walden, intercounty definitely come out on top!!

Intercounty are part of the same group as Premier Property Lawyers

We sold a property with Intercounty. The service from Intercounty would have been fine except they recommended a connected company firm of solicitors called Premier Property Lawyers to the buyers. Premier Property Lawyers were inefficient in particular suffering from a lack of coordination and frequently loosing correspondence. To avoid a repeat of this stress we are unlikely to use Intercounty again.

Not very often you get to work with ppl who are exceptional at their profession. With the current state of uncertainty within the housing market, the increasing mortgage rates, losing out on my first house choice, a difficult seller at the second house choice, I nearly pulled out of selling my home and wait for things to settle back down. Luckily, I spotted a gorgeous cottage in the same village of choice listed by Intercounty I got in touch and the manager, Andrew arranged immediate viewing and my offer was accepted. An easy transaction, excellent communication, no delay or chasing, great customer service, nothing is too much, I was reassured at all times and I can’t recommend Intercounty enough!
