From my initial valuation meeting with Tom I found him very helpful, responding quickly to any questions I had and always returning my calls if not available when I rang. Most of my day to day issues were dealt with Danielle especially during the final weeks leading up to the exchange of contracts. When things became rather fraught, following the landlord withdrawing the property I had agreed to rent, Danielle liaised with all parties and certainly saved me alot of hassle. Our sale turned out to be a very protracted and complicated one but Danielle Gennard, their Homemover, was absolutely brilliant, she kept us regularly updated, made sure that relevant parties were chased up and explained matters in easy to understand terms. Tom Hallt and Danielle Gennard are just absolutely incredible! I had no less than six agents in for valuation members when deciding to sell my house, and Tom's first impression just landed differently to the rest. The approach centred on the strengths of Gibbs Gillespie as the biggest agents in Ruislip, rather than others who focused on criticising their competitors and specifically Gibbs Gillespie, and Tom was really helpful whenever I asked for objective opinions on house viewings to buy even though not through Gibbs Gillespie. I have nothing but highest praise for Tom, and adding to the overall experience was Danielle who worked tirelessly to coordinate all parties, including Solicitors on both sides, and always gave quick and informative updates when needed. Danielle was invalauble in keeping us in the loop with developments and progress - and having a single point of contact once the sale was agreed is one thing I definitely recommend you have. One challenge we did have (hence not 5 stars) is the Buyer took in excess of 3 months to secure a confirmed mortgage which meant having an empty property around 6 months from offer to completion. The pandemic environment probably played a role in this - but a question I wish I had asked or would encourage others is the confidence of the buyer to secure the funds quickly to complete your house purchase.
