GoogleMy whole experience has been great. From phoning up to arrange a viewing, to putting in an offer everyone has been very helpful and has made the process much easier. Ross has been particularly helpful showing me around properties he believed fit what I wanted which led to me finding the perfect property. I am very impressed with the friendliness and speed of all staff. I would definitely recommend Linley & Simpson if you are thinking of looking for a property!

GoogleWe kept finding that houses we fell in love with kept going really quickly and we kept missing out so when we found one that was perfect for us Rick made sure we were the first to view and we even filled up the application form before the viewing so we were able to pay the reservation fee on the phone straight after the viewing. Rick made sure our application was pushed first and we did get the house and we can't wait to move in. I found Rick really helpful, professional and friendly and would highly recommend to others.

GoogleMy partner and I are buying a house through Linley and Simpson Roundhay and the service we have received from Harriet has been exceptional. We have had a lot of trouble with setting up a mortgage due to appalling customer services so the process has been frustratingly long but Harriet has been very patient and supportive, and happy to listen to the occasional rant about mortgages. Overall we have received a very friendly and helpful service, I'd recommend them to anyone.

GoogleWe recently let out our flat and rented a house for ourselves through Linley and Simpson and have received a highly professional service throughout. Daniel was extremely thorough and told me everything I needed to know about becoming a landlord and the services Linley could offer without putting pressure on me to sign up there and then. His valuation of the property was accurate and, as promised, let very quickly for the price we wanted. Cleo did a great job showing tenants around and was very knowledgeable about the property and the area. She also enthusiastically showed us around the property we wished to rent and again impressed us with her service. Rik has done a fantastic job of taking us through the paperwork and keeping us informed about the progress of our property as well as helping us to secure the house we wanted to rent. Thank you to the whole team, you've done a great job!

GoogleThe team at Linley and Simpson have been great to me, both as a letting agent and an estate agent. I finally bought my first home which was the same flat I was renting at the time. The Roundhay office were helpful contacts when I had maintenance issues, and then when I needed help pushing the sale forwards, the team did their best to make sure this happened! I recommend both the lettings and sales teams!

In particular, Neil McGroarty who throughout the sale process has been the communication link between me and the vendor and at times our solicitors too. He was quick to respond by phone or email to all enquiries and kept all parties informed and reassured at each stage of the process. GoogleFrom start to completion (with lockdown inbetween!), Neil, and Linley & Simpson, handled my sale in an efficient, friendly and professional manner. The whole process was seamless, with good quality input, at the appropriate times, and a smooth transition from initial contact, through the sale process to a quick completion. I have used Linley & Simpson for two sales, one purchase, and a rental, and have always found them to provide an excellent service and professional service.

Special thanks to Rik as he coordinated with branch office and made special efforts to get the deal finalised in a single day. GoogleRented a property from this agency , poorly managed overpriced property. They forced me to take Homelet insurance in particular and said ‘they cannot proceed without it’. At the end of tenancy gave exhorbitant quotes for elementary cleaning and repairs to the property despite it being cleaned already. At the start they promised that the insurance would protect the deposit now they are indifferent to that claim. The representative bluntly told me in his mail that I ‘can’t threaten them with adverse reviews’ as if they care about reviews and as if I don’t have anything better to do than threaten them. Took every penny of my deposit. Worst agency I have been in business with

GoogleTerrible company from the beginning to the end of our tenancy. we moved into a property with a long list of issues that were not sorted prior to our occupation, even though we were assured they would be, so amongst many other issues we were unable to use the shower and cooker. Throughout our 2 year tenancy our experience with the company was awful they did not respond when necessary to sort out issues, and sent contractors into our property without our knowledge and permission. Finally be very careful if you really have to deal with them as they will try anything really anything to hold back in returning your deposit, I had to threaten with court action to justify receiving all our money back.

GoogleThis is the 5th time i had to move in Leeds because the landlord sells the property. 4 years ago my wife and I didn't have a great experience with Linley on Street Lane while moving to a property on Fearnville but this time they look like they renewed their staff and Jon was really very professional and made our move very smooth!

GoogleWorst rental I've ever experienced. Rarely fix problems unless you're constantly on their case and even them things take a year or so, but they're quick to jump on payments. Covid-19 has meant a lot of people haven't been earning anything, but renters still have to pay full rent, otherwise people like these are ringing/emailing/messaging everyone including guarantors.
