Viewed a house one evening and was told to get my offer in by 1700 the next day. The earliest I could call was 1600 due to my work schedule that day which I did but was told that an offer had already been accepted earlier in the day! I specifically asked when final offers needed to be in as I knew I'd need to spend my lunch break calling mortgage advisor then call estate agent straight after work. I also notice other comments saying the same thing how they weren't kept informed and/or told false information. Really poor service made even more disappointing by the fact that I thought they were a reputable company. Avoid at all costs as you will be disappointed and have your time wasted.

These guys work with you and for you to ensure everything goes to plan, exceeding our expectations in every aspect. The whole Team at Rotherham are experts who go the extra mile and genuinely project a warm and friendly professional relationship. To be honest we were sceptical that no estate agent could deliver on our time scale and price expectations in the current housing climate. How wrong I was, Paul valued the house on Day 1, we discussed the market and agreed the sale price and tactics. Day 2 completed the photo-shoot, brochures and online ad. Day 3 went to the Market. Day 4 five viewings arranged by the office team of pre-vetted prospective buyers in a strong position to fit my schedule and deliver on price. Day 5 Sold Subject to Contract. avoid selling through Martin and Con

we were looking to sell our house through Martin & Co(n), initially it seemed like they found a buyer in January 2024, in the preceding months up until October 2024 we were forced to sell the property at a massive loss at auction as we were running out of money to keep paying the mortgage and council tax . Right up until the end we were advised that the buyer is still in the process of trying to get the funds together to be able to purchase the property. Martin and Con advised us that a buyer was in place when he didn't even have the money in place to purchase the property. Even up until the end the buyer wasnt in a position to finalise as he didn't have the mortgage in place and was still trying to arrange things. In the end as we were running out of money unable to make mortgage payments so we had to sell the property at a considerable loss as we simply didn't have the money to carry on in the hope that someday the buyer may have things in place. In the end we had to sell via an auction meaning a major loss yet Martin and Con still want paying despite the losses we had to suffer

We have just sold our house via Martin & Co and would highly recommend their professional service. Throughout the process Gary Moss and the team kept us fully informed of all developments. Their use of technology meant that they quickly produced a comprehensive online advert with great photos. All viewings were confirmed by email with relevant times and names. The house sold within the first seven days. Once the offer had been accepted Georgina contacted us regularly to update us with the legalities and was always available to answer our queries and to calm our nerves. Their friendly approach coupled with their expertise made the whole process much less of a traumatic experience than we had anticipated and we are more than happy to recommend them. Having recently signed a tenancy with Martin & Co Rotherham, where our enquiry and application was handled by Johanna and Lauren, the overall experience has been great and continues to be as we have moved into the property managed by them. The process to enquire about a viewing was straightforward and received reminders/confirmation of our upcoming viewing and we were met by Johanna at the property. Following submitting our application, we received frequent updates from Johanna and Lauren with the status of our application and any guidance as we went through the different stages.
