Challenging purchase but all worthwhile!

Buying a property during the pandemic has been a long, challenging and frustrating process. I firstly want to thank Josh Finch who initially showed myself and my wife around to a few properties even drove us to a couple of viewings as we were travelling by foot, this was really appreciated. I wanted to say a big thank you to Lucy and Mackensie to get the mortgage application approved and keeping me informed at all stages.Last but not least me and my wife want to say a big thank you to Sarah Oakley who progressed our property purchase with efficiency, great customer service and always kept me informed of any and all changes (which was quite a few!) Her professionalism and commitment to her job is highly commendable.I highly recommend the services of the Balgores property team.

Sly and unprofessional staff at Balgores Estate Agents.

Some staff at Balgores Estate Agents in Dagenham are time wasters specially Femi Aladeokin. Although Alfie was genuine who showed me the property at 58 Rogers Road Dagenham. I made an offer on the property and was given the impression that the vendor most likely would accept this offer as it was the highest and that the property had been vacant for the past year due to probate order. I was informed by Alfie to send all my solicitors details as this would speed matters, which I did. The following day Femi Aladeokin came on the scene informing me that he is dealing with the property and Alfie was dealing on his behalf and that the vendor has refused my offer so I increased my offer and after five minutes Femi called me to say that my increased offer had been refused. I then increased my offer to the full asking price but I believe it was never conveyed to the vendor although I was a chain free and met the vendors requirements. Femi sent me a letter that evening via his admin team in which he only mentioned my first lower offer (and no mention of the higher offer) saying vendors non acceptance of the lower offer. When I called the next day I was kept on hold for long time and Femi did not have the courtesy to come to the phone and I was never informed if the vendor was ever conveyed my offer of the full asking price. Very sly and unprofessional behaviour of Femi Aladeokin i would not be recommending them to anyone. Avoid being served by Femi Aladeokin when dealing with Balgores estate agents in Dagenham.

Excellent Estate Agents

I can’t praise Balgores enough, especially Sarah Oakley and Allannah.My house didn’t even go on right move and sold for the asking price, I was happy I only had to show 3 couples round as my schedule is hectic and selling and buying is one of the most stressful things in life but Sarah made it so much less stressful than it should of been, she did all the chasing with solicitors, buyers and sellers..... I wouldn’t go to any other estate agent now..... just go to Balgores..... Best Estate Agent

Excellent service from Balgores!

Excellent service from Balgores when we wanted to purchase our first property. Thanks to Lucy Franklin our mortgage broker who helped us on our way to getting all the necessary paperwork we needed to get started. She was very friendly and professional and easy to work with and welcomed every inquiry we had and there was no silly question. We were then met by Balgores property consultant Josh Finch who was extremely helpful in helping us organise our viewings. He also endeavoured to allow a degree of flexibility to suit our busy schedules. Thanks to Sarah Oakley and Mackensie Walker who helped us through the final proceedings in co-ordinating everything we needed with our solicitor. They were very professional and worked in a timely manner to help speed things up for us due to the urgency of our situation. Henry at Loughton branch goes above and beyond!

Henry from the Loughton Branch has been exceptionally helpful in supporting both me and my husband whilst viewing a property that we might want to let in the Loughton area. He has been honest, trustworthy and ensured he has been available to us even out of office hours. He has listened to me ramble on about my personal concerns about the property and continues to try his best to put our minds at rest at each stage so far. We couldn't have asked for a better service. We have dealt with many estate agents in the past who have not gone above and beyond like Henry has - he has really stuck out as a good egg to us and even if we don't end up going for the property that he has shown us we know that he has done his best to make us feel at ease.

arrogant, rude and not serious

Prior to the viewing they asked inappropriately detailed questions about finances as if you're trying to buy Buckingham Palace. On arrival the owner wasn't in and was never informed of the viewing. Balgores response: Ah well, bad luck. We don't even bother look at their property listings anymore, to us they're obvious scammers.

Balgores Upminster were great

Balgores Upminster were great, we sold our property quickly then lost out buyers, literally the whole branch worked tirelessly to find a replacement buyer. Branch Manager Richard was great when he valued our house, no pressure to go with them and when we did he didn't try to influence which package to go with. Both Chris & Heather in branch were able to step in and out of helping us easily so we felt very looked after. Communication was clear, advice was freely offered and when I wobbled whoever picked the phone up took the time to clam me down. We have a lovely new home thanks to Balgores Upminster and I can't thank them enough!!

Couldn't have done enough for me, definitely would use Balgores again

I had to sell and purchase a property given some unfortunate personal circumstances, and Curtis at Balgores handled both for me. From start to finish the service provided by Gavin and team at Balgores Romford was excellent! From the first instruction to sell our property, the service was fantastic with regular updates reducing all the stresses that are associated with moving houses. Gavin put everything into Layman's terms and what really impressed us was the speed and efficiency of the process. Top quality photography was followed by numerous viewings and we were delighted with the amount of interest generated in such a short amount of time. All of this organised so carefully in the midst of a pandemic. Had a recent viewing for a duplex. The agent who showed us around was not accommodating and not knowledgeable about the property, telling us that all details will be in the pack that she has given us. Also made it a point to tell us that she has other people coming to view the property soon and wanting us out of the property. Also gave me a call back and asked why we viewed the flat if we now realise we want a house. As a customer, I would not want to deal with an agent who thinks that customers are dispensable just because there is a boom with housing sales. We viewed the flat as we were looking for either flats or houses and our viewings have led us to solidify our choice for wanting a house instead. We would have considered this is property if not for the subpar experience we've had. It is not up to the customer to read up on the property because as an estate agent, you should know what you are trying to sell. I think agents sometimes forget that the customer will only put their money into a company that makes the whole process of moving houses a less stressful experience than it already is.
