TrustpilotTrack and Trace still firmly stuck in the 20th Century
They’ve updated the app. They’ve added a sentence or two that supports the already common knowledge that Royal Mail Track and Trace neither tracks nor traces. It tells you that they have received your item, something blindingly obvious as it will not escape anybody’s notice that in order for them to receive it you will be the one to have given it to them in the first place. And it tells you when the item has been delivered, another fairly useless piece of information. Nothing in between. No information as to its progress and where it might be at any one time, unlike the systems used by other delivery companies who like to record every piece of information sometimes right down to the driver’s name.Come on, Post Office, get with it.

Today I was two pounds fifty for a letter to Canada. Even the postmistress said it was ridiculous. The post comes sometimes mid afternoon. As usual services zilch but they’ll probably have another stamp rise. Oh and it still terrible the post office victims are still waiting. Really bad.

TrustpilotWhy are you still insisting on putting parcels on the doorstep
Again we had a parcel delivered today and the postman who brings it is the most unfriendly and actually rude individual I have ever met. He claims it the rules even though the covid rules have effectively gone. Do you have no consideration for individuals who have medical issues in picking items up off the floor??? Also why is it we get other deliveries again from the post office (Parcelforce) and they give to you in your hand like a professional would. Will I get a response?

TrustpilotNo sympathy for PO Ltd at all
No sympathy for PO Ltd at all. You reap what you saw. Franchise hundreds of Crown Offices, hand those over to ill-suited, unqualified, untrained operators, provide them with no meaningful support and wait for disaster such as this to happen. Sadly, the remaining 114 Crown Offices are soon likely to follow the suit and be closed down. Disgraceful shambles.

Trustpilotunhelpful staff
I went to post something special delivery, and had stamps on the counter ready to pay, but the member of staff rang up the payment without glancing up, and refused to accept the stamps, and didn't apologize, just looked scornful

Trustpilotpost office travel insurance
Haven taken out post office travel insurance, i had to attend hospital in Singapore for urgent medical treatment and the shocking service from this Post office travel insurance, was beyond belief and i had to sign myself out of hospital, because they took over 9 hrs to even respond to agree to pay for my urgent appointment. Stay clear of this travel insurance as even getting someone to pick up a phone or answer an email is almost impossible. I am 2000 pounds out of pocket and almost 3 weeks later have not even received a claims form. Probably the worst travel insurance i haver ever taken out and it was not cheap, like the serice i seem to be getting now.

TrustpilotDiabolical service
Worst service and experience I have ever dealt with. My passport was posted into a flat half a mile from where it should have been delivered. Poor service and response.

I be good and give 1 star only because I cannot give no stars, OMG what can I say the true a disgrace they way customer are treated, I waited for my 2 parcel to be delivered between 9.16 and 12.16 1 was delivered at 12.16 glad no traffic the other 1 13.30 hour after it should of been delivered. The best joke I went twice to the sorting office to be told postman as parcel I said he does not he only delivered the 1, wait for it I was then handed my post I was asked ic I wanted to take my post. Confused.com so am I if postman as my parcel why not my post still waiting for an answer from sorting office on that one and royal mail head office. That why I asked for Saturday delivery as I work so not I have to redirect one again to another day and week for me to collect from post office if it get delivered the last one did not

TrustpilotLocal Branch should be Open but is again Closed
I often visit the local branch when it is advertised as being open to 6PM most days, to find it has closed early due to lack of trained staff. Its not such an issue if you have something to post (but still a pain having to go to another branch), but a big issue when you are going there to collect an item, that you can not do that at another branch. There are now more times I visit to find it closed than open. I have officially complained several times and keep getting the same scripted reply and nothing is done to either alter the advertised opening hours or sort out their lack of staff.

TrustpilotAbsolutely hopeless from start to…
Absolutely hopeless from start to finish. I applied for a digital passport renewal through the PO and now my passport is missing. Despite them saying that they were sending my old passport by special delivery, it was never scanned into the system and is now in limbo somewhere. I barely have words for how utterly useless and unprofessional the PO has become, but that is the common standard in modern Britain, no accountability, and no effort to do what they are paid to do.

Despite paying being a loyal mortgage payer for 5 years how am I rewarded with extortionate product fees and terrible rates. Just like other companies they reward existing their customers with terrible rates and extortionate fees will be switching and never using post office money again

Looking to put money in to an ISA. The Post Office are the highest interest paying big name provider. I will never invest in them due to the disgusting way they treated their sub-postmasters.

TrustpilotDisgusting lack of service
I bought a very expensive snowdrop bulb for a friend. Recorded delivery Post came the following day early morning when the delivery is normal mid morning. ‘Live Plants’ written on the box clearly, postman didn’t even wait for my friend to get downstairs. Didn’t try next door to leave it, left a card and disappeared. She tried to get it delivered the following day but was told two days for re-delivery, meant to be delivered today but no sign of it yet. How can the post office increase their postage charges when they obviously employ inept people. Disgusted with the (lack of) service.

TrustpilotEverything to do with this business is…
Everything to do with this business is not fit for purpose. From the so called tracking information, which doesn’t work until they’ve attempted to deliver the item for some strange reason, to the constant mistakes by the people who are supposed to be doing the delivering. The whole thing is pathetic.

TrustpilotEmbarassingly bad...
Tried to order a Travel Money Card - website waits til you get to the end before telling you it's not enough money for collection... so reset to home delivery and it resets all the fields and makes you enter it all again... then at the end it says the same thing! Went around in circles until it accepted £400 (!) - PO says minimum should be £50 so even the most basic things don't work.Card arrived but it won't display on the app - however it does show an old card from 4 years ago that I cashed in and closed 2 years ago! Phone up for help but "help line" disconnects before you can speak to anyone. After 5th attempt spoke to someone who said it's because I've used the same email address as last time - well of cuorse I have, that's my email address!! Their system doesn't cope with that (but doesn't stop you doing it when you pay!), so their back office team has to manually fix it and I have to wait another 48 hours.Shambolic, how can it be so difficult?

I worked at the Post Office soritng ofice in Swan Valley Northampton in 2019 (where I contracted covid). If you want to witness a workforce, who choose to throw customers parcels (especially when they are marked fragile) then you have to see it for yourself. It is utterly disrespect of the customers parcels. The toilets are like something in the darkest hole of Calcutta.I don't like to leave negative comments, but the Post Office' do you deserve it.A company that stands by and (knowingly) watches hundreds of it's innocent post masters jailed.I hope the enquiry uncovers the people responsible, guilty, and they go to prison for a long long time.

TrustpilotPhone cards don't work and Post Office…
Phone cards don't work and Post Office helplines don't help.My mum buys the International phone card to call my brother in USA but the last two cards she got don't work, it doesn't ring through to his phone. We called the helpline number on the back of the card but it keeps cutting us off. We went to the Post Office and the person behind the counter tried calling the helpline and they got cut off too. She gave us a "We're here to help" leaflet but none of the helplines are relevant to our problem or they just don't work. The Post Office just does not want to help.

Trustpilotpassport renewal..not what it says on the tin
The post office promote the no fuss digital passport renewal service for a price of £16 in addition, to the £75 passport fee. They state "WE "will fill out the forms.. WE will check it, WE will take your photo... basically do it all for you! I thought that sounds good.... However....not true..!! Went to the post office with old passport in hand. Cashier directs ME to a photo booth in the corner, where she informs ME i need £6 pounds for the photo booth, ( you need pound coins) then "I" could come back and "I"could fill out the application forms on a tablet.. Then "I" could send the form from the post office digitally.. so basically It would have cost £22 not £16 as advertised... and "I" would have the privilege of paying the post office for doing absolutely nothing... I left and did it myself.. what a joke

The post office had a very good name, many years ago,for being a stable, reliable organisation, for the general public,I am shocked,as I haven't received a package, and have rescheduled redilverynow three times, they have never responded, and I can't get a refund, until it's sent back, they cannot be botherd,it's very sad,They should retrain all the staff, and make them respectfully of the elderly, they make you feel like you are a nuisance, whilst people rely on courtesy, and decency, some thing should be done, they shout over the counters,in Lewisham,at you,as though you are an imbecille, there services are paid for from the general public, they forget that.!!!
