TrustpilotDONOT use redirect to local post…
DONOT use redirect to local post office. The local post office Stapenhill refused parcels because they had not enough storage. Instead of returning to depot and trying again another day they return to sender as refused by customer! This places you in a difficult position the sellor sent the item correctly so not their fault. Royal Mail DO NOT offer deliver to a service point and then return to sender. Take money and then poor service. PS 40mins then 90 mins on phone to actually talk to anyone. Perhaps Amazon should take over.

Then I make a complaint and post office ain’t bothered and told me to make a claim - I go online and the claim site doesn’t even work - mr bates was right - corrupt to the core and useless - sell it to Amazon for a £1 - complete incompetent

TrustpilotMitcham Post Office (Langdale Parade) are racist and unprofessional
The staff at Mitcham Post Office on Langdale Parade are rude and unprofessional. When I asked to use their pad to moisten my fingers to seal a letter I was refused. It contained a form I wanted to double check before posting. The letter was thrown backat me with return sticker labels. I had the presence of mind to scratch out the labels. The Postmasters from Google Reviews are discriminatory towards Black people and Muslims. I am in one of those groups and could feel the hatred from the male Postmaster.

Has to one of the most badly run mail sorting offices in Scotland, seen a postman once last week 20th of February 2024. I have been waiting for important mail from hospital and a lawyers who told me it would be sent out first class, last week NOW on the 26th 27th of February not one single postman or vehicle has been to Glen street where I live, I complained about this only to be told to write down a complaint number and that’s about all the can do. The post office has said on the media that in order for it to survive as a business they would need to cut back to a 3 day week 😡😡 the cheek of them they barely come down Glen street in paisley Renfrewshire 2 days a week. This company is badly run and should be handed over to someone who is in the delivery business like Amazon or eBay to many fat cats taken big bonuses and laughing all the way to the bank.UTTER DISGRACE OF A COMPANY

TrustpilotAbusive Post Office Employee
On two occasions in a Post Office outlet, located at 82 London Rd, Brighton and Hove BN1 4JF, I was dealt with by an atrociously vitriolic and abusive person. On the first occasion on the 12th May, 2023 this person was manning a counter near the premises’ entrance. On this date this extremely rude person made not-so-indirect disgusting accusations against me. At the time I made a complaint about this post office employee’s vile and abusive conduct. Then on the 26th February, 2024 I returned to this post office and was again subjected to even more vile behaviour from the same person. It’s my opinion that she remembered me as a person who previously had made a complaint about her, and she wanted vengeance. It was quite disgusting to experience vile and abusive behaviour from her for a second time. I’ve made a second complaint about this person to the Post Office’s customer care. It will be interesting to see how the Post Office deals with this employee who has been repeatedly vile, abusive and insulting to a customer.

I purchased a first class stamp and posted an anniversary card in Chessington Surrey for my parents. The card was going to kingston in Surrey. I paid for a first class stamp hoping to get it there the next day. However 2 days later and no arrival of the card. I think this is extremely poor and disappointing for my parents. Much improvement is necessary.

TrustpilotBattersea Delivery Office
We sent a small parcel tracked delivery to be signed for on Thursday 17/2 for next day delivery, it didn't arrive by Saturday and the postie hadn't left a card, we tracked it and it said it was attempted but no one was at home.(all day waiting for it) After waiting for45mins on the phone on 2 separate occasions we went online and rescheduled it ourselves to be re delivered on Thursday, we had all mail confirmation but it didn't arrive Thursday, the recipient went in to Battersea DO in person and because she had no card yet we sent her all the information needed they were rude and brushed her off saying it will be redelivered? We rang up and made a complaint this morning, and the conversations we had with the second person because I was cut off after waiting minutes the first call answered, were excellent she was very courteous and insisted we put a complaint in because something wasn't right, what is worrying is if you don't put the senders address on the back of the envelope after 18 days it gets sent to a PO building and you will be sold off or destroyed The recipient saw the postie today and asked where her parcel was and she giggled nervously and brought the package out which was open at the top, this is terrible and we all think she was going to keep it if not challenged or a complaint has gone in to them this morning

TrustpilotShould no longer have government protection
It's common to be talked to rudely in a post office. I believe the friendly nature of the lead characters in the recent ITV drama were over stated . The drama did say that they took fictitious licence on some aspects. I remember the same rude behaviour being active twenty years ago. I've worked on building sites where people are doing harder work then the post office and in fact I've never met the same rude hostile individuals in any other walk of life but in a post office . Just how far would the Post Office last if the Government cut their apron strings ? Probably into the bankruptcy courts where they belong . The Post Office are now a disreputable brand and after what they have done in recent times of course people are going to be more questioning of their demands and requirements. So isn't it better for the Government to no longer own them and cast them adrift ?, As they would do with any crim however unlike the majority of offenders in this country . The Post Office has not been sentenced or had to serve any debt to society this Government owned company remains the only company where you can send letters and parcels not because it has a talent for it but because it has a monopoly . But it also appears to have cleared itself of any wrong doing and carries on over the remains of peoples trampled lives . They carry on . Other companies could do what the post office does if there was a free market in reality and The Post Office had to bid againGetting back to my recent experience , the rude dishevelled Asian Manager ordered me out of the store , because he asked me why I questioned his question . When I told him it was not the question it was his rude attitude that prompted me to question matters he got angry and aggressive . I have five post office's in my locality all run by rude , people of Muslim heritage . The rudeness and bad attitude existed long before the Horizon storm. Seems that certain people believe that being in charge of a Post Office gives them a right to be rude and authoritarian to others . There are posters up everywhere demanding that you treat them with respect . On the other hand there is nothing that says they will treat the customer with respect and courtesy.

TrustpilotAvoid maryport PO try ellenborough instead
Went into maryport post office to send a valuable dance costume to be told the address I was sending it to wasn’t on the system. Went to one half mile away at ellenborough and they couldn’t have been more helpful. I’ll just use ellenborough instead of my local one which is maryport, the attitude of the older lady is a call for concern.

Getting fibreboard fitted today & the router got delivered when I was on holiday, told Vodafone that I won't be at home. No option to rebook delivery, then when on holiday the post had been twice instead of trying to leave it with one of the neighbours. So had to rebooked myself when I got home from holiday. Still not received my router, called the post office number that's on the card it said it was delivered to the customer when I haven't received it. On the phone over 1 hour to speak to someone at the post office. I changed the date on the 16th, it said it was with the customer on the 17th when I rebooked for a delivery today on 20th. Can't got to the post because it's only open two hours in the morning certain days & not near my house & I don't drive. Now I will be charged by Vodafone for another router, & on the phone for ages to Vodafone & no WIFI!!! The post is always like this, sometimes had cards in my letterbox saying I wasn't at home when I was at home but the postman couldn't be bothered to knock!

TrustpilotGreasby post office rip off
Asked for 2 parcels to be sent Royal Mail 48 hour tracked. I was told it would cost £9.45. I was surprised and said eBay quoted at £4.99! Asked again for 48 hour tracked and if made difference deliver for pm. Then quoted £33!!! I demanded the parcel back but he would not hand it over. Checked quickly online which confirmed the lower cost of £4.99. The employee told me I was wrong when I showed the cost on my phone as for 1st class service. Customers in the queue were getting restless so reluctantly paid the £9.45. After I left looked at receipt to find I’d been charged for special delivery which I had not asked for. RIP OFF

TrustpilotBeware of rude staff at Rugeley PO.
I have recently had the most horrendous experience at Rugeley Post Office. The counter operative was incredibly rude to me and although I didn’t utter one word she refused to serve me and slammed down the blind. I am aware that there are many people locally who have been treated this way by the same woman. I understand trade there is very poor. Is it any wonder? So many people have had similar treatment to me. Time these franchisers are removed for the good of the Post Office and the town of Rugeley.

TrustpilotI am seriously considering using a courier now....
I mail a lot of items to customers on eBay, these are usually small or medium parcels. A customer ordered a product today, and as it was quite small fit within the '48 Hour Tracked Small Parcel' category which I often use. The L x W x D dimensions of the parcel also fit within those given by Royal Mail for this category. The maximum depth given (by RM) for this is 16cm. As luck would have it, the box I used was exactly 16cm in depth, so it was bang on. I secured the product inside the box with packing etc, and secured it with parcel tape as normal.Took it to my local post office, which I regularly use and have never had a problem. The chap behind the counter measured the box with a tape measure. A small area of extra tape on literally one edge pushed it 2 to 5 mm over the maximum (depth) size on that side. The rest of the sides measured 16cm so were okay. The dimensions were even printed on the box as '16cm depth', but as the tape covered that I couldn't prove it. Despite my trying to tell him he only measured that one side and to measure it all around, he refused to take it, and told me I would have to purchase a Medium Parcel label and repost it. That, or pay extra postage but it wouldn't be tracked. As I needed to track it to the customer, I had to go home, purchase another more expensive label, and then go back to the post office to repost. When I was served, I mentioned the earlier incident to the lady behind the desk, who measured the other sides and agreed with me that all but one side was exactly 16cm and it fell within the Small Parcel category as I'd originally stated. So I was proven correct.Had it been 17cm or even 16.5cm all around, that would have been understandable, and I don't expect them to bend the rules for me. But come on! The size overlap was only on one side and caused by an extra strip of parcel tape pushing it 2 to 5 mm over. Surely, he could have applied a little logic and seen that(?) Now I've either got to increase my postage costs on everything or consider using another courier, which considering the way I feel at the moment, seems like a pretty good idea.I have never had this problem before with Royal Mail when posting goods. I'm a busy man, and I've had most of my afternoon disrupted by a pedantic post office jobsworth, all for the sake of 2-5mm on one side of a box so Royal Mail could earn an extra £1.70.And to cap it all, they've lost a package sent to me nearly a week ago by a client.Update: Made a complaint to the Royal Mail. Nearly two weeks later and not a thing. Which just goes to show how much they value their customers.

Rudest staff I have ever come across at Darlington in the Cornmill! Terrible customer service. They all seem like they either can’t be bothered or just hate people! There’s always a massive queue when you go in because the staff members are all too busy talking amongst themselves behind the tills rather than serving people. Disgusting staff. Please give them more customer service training!

TrustpilotBad service
Yesterday I posted two parcels for a neighbour both clearly marked with instructions, they sent both at the most expensive rate! The second parcel was meant to be sent Second Class, I was charged first class next day delivery with signature for both, on returning today to query it they were extremely rude and didn't want to know! The second class parcel ended up costing £12.75 instead of £4.00

TrustpilotTravel Money
I decided to write a review after the post office scandal as I’d always bought my travel money through them. However after paying online for it last time and then not being able to pick it up because the code wouldn’t come through online for the postmaster I was told I couldn’t have my money despite paying for it. I can now understand where the poor lad was coming from, he said he’d have to pay from his own pocket if this QR code didn’t arrive on his system for him to scan. I had to wait for about half an hour. Needless to say I’m buying my travel money elsewhere this year. Just a word of advice. Don’t buy travel money from the post office if you want to guarantee you’ll receive it!

TrustpilotDreadful Tunbridge Wells Post Office
If you thought customer service at the dump of a Post Office could nt get worse - think again - they can't even be bothered to open now and any approach to staff outside as to reasaon for no service is met with a shrug and then they walk off. Just shut this place down and get rid of the staff - completely useless.

TrustpilotDreadful experience
Dreadful experience The woman who has worked at the Honiton Post Office in the Foreign exchange section counter a long time now is rude and obnoxious unhelpful and should not be in the job. Many times without fail besides having had bad dealings with this woman I have witnessed the same with others. She makes you feel uncomfortable when you ask for help. I honestly don't know why you would want such an unkempt scornful woman working in the public domain! She must make others who work their lives miserable as well. Post office shame on you for thinking people like that are acceptable and putting them front of house. The ultimate word I'm looking for is control freak.

TrustpilotEMMA AT ISLINGWOOD ROAD POST OFFICE!!!
I was greeted by an extremely ill mannered member of staff known as Emma. She wouldn't let me carry my dog in to the counter, less than two metres away and all I wanted was a stamp. So I said, if I give you the money, could you sell me a stamp and keep the change, to which she replied "I'm not employed to fetch and carry". I said it's just a stamp, it's as light as a feather and she continued to say, "if you want a stamp so badly, you'll have to take that dog home". I explained to her about my disabilities with walking, she sneered and said it's not my problem. I explained to her that there were no other customers in the post office and that she could have helped me without any hindrance to her job. Then she ignored me point blank, just staring at me in the doorway. I have also left a review on Google Reviews.
