Had to pay £1.50 to collect a regular Christmas card that had a second class stamp on it!!It was a simple card that would quite easily fit into my letterbox. I was expecting the item to b a package or something that had lost its stamp. So in addition to the stamp the total postage paid was £2.25!!!!Absolutely disgusting!!

I took 2 parcels to the post office on Eccles New Road, Salford and the clerk refused to print off the labels even though it states on the email that the post office would scan the QR code and print the labels, these parcels were heavy so walked to the post office with them and home again, I am livid

TrustpilotStandards of customer service highly variable
Was in the Mid Craigie Sub Post Office in Dundee the other week and found the staff to be surly, rude, misinformed and entirely unhelpful. Have heard other people complain about it so probably best to go elsewhere. The staff at Maryfield and Arklay Street are great. I think the fact that Post Office only reply to a miniscule proportion of negative comments shows they are quite happy to condone bad service and impertinent staff.

Parcel sent with a drone in it which has batteries, postal clerk was made aware of contents and acknowledged it and said as long as they are secure. Drone opened and confiscated so £780 lost due to a post office clerk doing what he should not have done. Civil lawsuit now to be taken against the post office

TrustpilotDon't use The Post Office as an external business partner.
I used Moonpig to organise an 18th Birthday card for my Grandson. I thought I had organised everything within an expansive timeline - just to be on the safe side - and then realised that Moonpig use the Post Office as their service partner. OMG. Over 48 hours over the 72 hours expected. When will businesses learn not to put the reputation of their own businesses in the hands of a third rate operators. It reflects badly on them through no fault of their own. For Goodness Sake hold your external stakeholders to account, or they will simply carry on proffering an abysmal service.

TrustpilotLost my Evri parcel
They gave my Evri parcel to the Royal Mail by mistake, The Royal Mail now want £7 to deliver a parcel that they should not have, this have happened previously and the Post Office informed me that the Royal Mail should give it back to Evri and not charge me / my customer. Email the post office 3 times (14th, 17th & 18th) and not had a response. They don't appear to have a phone number to call to resolve this issue!!

TrustpilotConvoluted complaints procedure
Convoluted complaints procedure. It's like dealing with an automaton, not a human being.Tried to pay my water bill in cash at one of their counters, but was charged an additional fee of just over 5% of the bill for my trouble. Post Office say it's not them who pocketed this. My water company deny it's them. However, the PO have decided to refund the charge (why, if the charge is nothing to do with them?). Despite me telling them I cannot access an online refund, this is what they have done. It's like wading through treacle trying to get any sense.

Would give no stars if could not content with constantly raising the price of stamps and not actually providing the service they promise last week my son sent a Father’s Day card from the relatively short distance from Aylesbury to Steeple Claydon he put a first class stamp on it and posted last Monday by this Monday it hadn’t arrived but a note was received from the post office stating that they were unable to deliver it due to the sender not paid sufficient postage and they wanted £5 to be paid to enable them to deliver itReally the price of a first class stamp £1.19 plus a further £5 to deliver 15 miles scandalous

TrustpilotCredit where it's due - some great customer improvements
I know you folks are getting some grief at the moment and there is no doubt that the horizon scandal is horrendous and has massively let you down. However, on a brighter note, I'd like to say how I've noticed numerous great improvements in your online postal service recently that means you are really challenging the stiff competition you have. Postal pick ups from the front door, and allowing the customer to specify in the request a designated location; plus you're one of the few couriers that allows you to add a custom location for drop off which is also ace. I have a great, friendly and helpful postie too (n20), and he is a credit to you, so that also helps my opinion of you as a brand and business. Great job by the app website team! Keep up the good work! 🔥🔥🔥

TrustpilotCustomer service is terrible
Customer service is terrible. I had a parcel that needed signing for yesterday but unfortunately I was at work. So I rang yesterday and spoke with the automated service to have my parcel rescheduled for Saturday 15th/July as I am not at work on this date. And I was informed that my parcel as been rescheduled for sat. I got home from work today and they have tried again to deliver when it was meant to be tomorrow. So to cut a long story short I tried to ring this afternoon to speak with a human being and I was on the phone on hold for nearly an hour an a half. I had to put the phone down as was getting nowhere. No answer after waiting all that time. Absolutely terrible customer services.

TrustpilotPost Office very inefficient…
Post Office tried to deliver parcel from Amazon when I was out. Went online and arranged for delivery to my nearest post office. They tried to deliver again to my house instead. Another card left asking me to rearrange delivery. Almost impossible to read the delivery number written on the card but it was correct according to Amazon message just received. Have lost the will to live! Why does anyone use the service for parcel deliveries?

TrustpilotWould give 0 stars if I could to Kingshill Post Office
Would give 0 stars if I could to Kingshill Avenue Post Office. Paid for a parcel to be sent Special Delivery to Scotland only for the doofus to send it to me as the sender. A waste of nearly ten quid, then I had to resend. Caused a lot of problems with the buyer threatening me when it was the post office counter employee fault. Went it another time and told him what he did but he wasn’t bothered a very weak apology. Went in today and just said please put the correct address and the same guy/owner berated me and continued telling me off that I better not say it to him again. Absolutely disgusting treatment and no respect for paying customers. Acted like he was the victim! I would go elsewhere but this is the nearest one to get to. Nobody does this disgusting behaviour, need to be educated in manners and how to talk to people!

TrustpilotRude staff
We’ll join the queue of complaints. They lost my signed and tracked important documents and when I rang up and they said there was nothing they could do, I said they were useless, after that she threatened me with using abusive language, I was just stating the obvious. Today arrived at Horley Morrisons post office branch at 2.55pm to post a parcel only to find they were closed for lunch until 3.15 pm funny time for lunch, however waited 20 mins by now a queue of about 15 people were now waiting, then the guy appeared and said use other counter in shop, well the customer service was dreadful, if he smiled his face would of cracked.

TrustpilotCan not trust the post office management
Cannot trust the post office to carry mail even!! sent a parcel via my local post office and paid for a service with my credit card. The post office took my parcel and placed it into the post office bag. A few days later, the postman delivered the parcel back to me without a postal label; obviously, it fell off while in the hands of the post office, either via their post bag or their offices. I went back to the post office where I initially sent it, and they said it was not their problem and blamed me! These are the type of pompous fools we are dealing with today. You cannot even trust the post office to handle your mail securely or even handle your money as they have stolen millions of postmasters. Their customer service does not even have a telephone number, so the only contact is via an email. I sent an email over 2 weeks ago, and they still have not responded. Not fit for purpose. The post office is going downhill after the public inquiry. The post office directors/ CEO’s lost its reputation due to its own doing; its board of directors, fraud investigators, post office lawyers, and post office management lost the branding overnight! The postmasters built the brand, and then the corruption by the management destroyed it! As a member of the public and a supporter of postmasters and their families, there is no way they will be trusted again as a consumer we will not be using this corrupted organisation! The post office is a good example of how not to run a business! All businesses need to wind up and all those connected should also go!!! Even the new board members, directors, CEOs are still not fit for purpose as they are still hiding information and laws must be changed to hold these people accountableble and to stop this type of behaviour across the corporate world by non-disclosure of information as all of them at the post office are lying to the whole of the UK and making a mockery out of the justice system, lying to judges, lying to barrister/ KC, lying to select community, lying to ministers, lying to postmasters, lying to public furthermore lying on the stage to the rest of the world! The post office have been caught out, the level of corruption is to the core, crinesvommited by the post office has not even been investigated. The post office has probably be been involved in money laundering! All at the top should be investigated robustly!! Seizing their assests!

TrustpilotI use this post office because it is…
I use this post office because it is nearby not because of customer service skills. Unfortunately every time I go in the woman looks like she is spitting venom at me. I think it is a personal thing although I have never caused her any issues and am very polite. I have been sent back with parcels in the past as she said system does not recognise codes. The last occasion her colleague who is very warm and friendly was trying to help me when the woman said to her I know what the codes look like and these are not going through. It took for her colleague to say why don’t we reset and try again and it worked, she saved me time and the hassle of being told to take parcels back. This morning I went in said good morning and if looks could kill I would be flat out. She showed that her attitude and her customer service skills were awful by her performance. I understand people can have problems and not be happy but in a role like this, you need to make the attempt as you are acting on behalf of post office and it does not look good

TrustpilotPetersfield Member of Staff Rude
In this Petersfield post office, there is a blond lady that is consistently rude. Today was no exception. It's never acceptable for staff to be even the slightest bit rude to customers, especially today when she rolled her eyes when asked a question. Unacceptable, this member of staff needs customer service training. I always avoid this post office If I can.

TrustpilotPost Office Mail
Had a card put through the door to say incorrect postage on letter fee to pay £1.50. Discovered that this was a birthday card sent 10 days earlier. So why did the post office hold onto it so long? I paid the fee arranged for it to be delivered from Downham Market 5/06/2024. It hasn't arrived!! I can't believe how bad the post office has become. Such bad customer service from a company that used to be reliable. The price of posting a letter keeps going up, but the service keeps going down. Order something from amazon and it arrives the next day.
