All mail arriving late.

I had two letters today, regarding renewals ( insurance) the one was posted 29th December 2025. Do you think this letter should have took so long to arrive at my address. I've heard of people missing NHS appointments too as letters not arriving in time. We never used to have this problem. Please SORT .

Will never use again for collection.

First two negative experiences at the Post office in Tesco, Westwood, Broadstairs. Rude staff, unhelpful, could not find parcel.Decided to risk a parcel being delivered for collection there again (on the off chance my first two experiences where random).No. staff look angry before you even get to the counter and.. My parcel had been delivered, then rejected by them. (This parcel was medium size and light weight). End result: Royal mail won't redeliver as it was sent back from delivery destination (the post office) to sender. The sender deems it delivered! but will investigate.I now have no parcel (not cheap content). I will have to wait and pay for redilivery, or a refund. Assuming it does not get lost on the way back to it's destination in which case I am out of money and parcel content. No reason for the Post Office to reject the delivery. Won't choose them again to collect from. Convenience and parking (only reason I have given 2 stars) do not make up for a naff service.

Post Office Savings

I know this is run by Bank of Ireland, but the account is called Post Office Savings so the review is here.Called to register Lasting Power of Attorney for my mums’ accounts. They make it so difficult, rather than being able to register online like most banks, I was told to go in branch to certify documents and apply.I called on two separate occasions to confirm the form required and queried this as the form suggests its to open an account, but I want to access mums existing accounts!I had to drive 30 minutes to a main Post Office, have them certify ID and handed in the filled-out form. Talking to the lady in the Post Office, she said it looks like a savings application form but has never dealt with LPA so didn’t really know. Two weeks later I had my form returned stating it was not filled out fully and they need to know "countries I receive monies from" and "my mums saving goal"!!!This proves the form I was told to use by TWO different customer service reps was incorrect.ABSOLUTE JOKEI now have to waste more time and call PO Savings just to speak to people who don’t seem to know what they’re doing, in the mean time my mum has to pay for her care home which is why this money is desperately needed!

How can the post office get away with…

How can the post office get away with robbing people, my sent a game costing £59.99 + postage(4.20 and insurance to his son for his birthday , it was supposed to be next day delivery but still hasn’t arrived to this day , when tracking it says it’s still on the Manchester sorting office , any way after months of phone calls waiting on the phone for over a hour each time for customer service they finally sent a cheque for £10 less than the product cost and the cost of sending it , I’m now taking them to the small claims court for the £10 , not because I need the £10 but to prove a point , it cost about £115 to make the claim so when we win it the Royal Mail will have to pay the cost , + days off work attending court ,Parking charges and any other expenses occurred.ps.the Royal Mail are now blaming the post office on Waterloo ,Liverpool saying they the wrong advice to my son when he went to post the item, he told them exactly what it was and how much it cost , he told them he wanted next day delivery signed for and insured , it was them who gave him the cost ,

This is the second time I use track and trace sign for and each time the post office failedto deliver my package - to crown it all on both occasions this was for HMRC like the post office is too blind not to understand they must deliver the package. I have it in black and white `the item was received by north west midlands on 8th December which was due for delivery the following day BUT it was NEVER delivered. what kind of service is this?

Post Office inside Morrisons local, Woodthorpe York still not fit to be serving customers

My local McColls convenience store recently changed to a Morrisons local store but unfortunately I’m still having the same issues with my parcels not being properly scanned in and getting proof of drop offs? I’m still dealing with inexperienced staff who don’t know how to run the post office side of the business. Certain staff who work in the shop are to be quite honest not fit or clever enough to work in post office yet they keep screwing up my drop offs?, I’ve even made it simple for them by bringing prepaid parcels yet it’s still being screwed up?, seriously everyone in the store needs retraining on how to run the post office, there are other issues too like cashing up the post office during serving times and disgruntled customers walking out, also the post office machine is constantly breaking down so I’m having to have to find another post office with a working machine and this is after the store was recently refurbished and rebranded as a Morrisons store? Same old service same old crap, this has to be worst post office in York.

POST OFFICE SHAME ON YOU

POST OFFICE SHAME ON YOU! My brother passed away and then to add to our grief his property was broken in to, he lived alone so we thought we’d get his post re-directed to ensure the security of sensitive information but to do this the post office charged us a whopping £76 shame on you P.O for cashing in on bereaved relatives, also my brothers NOK is a 90 yrs old in receipt of pension credit, how the P.O can justify charging relatives of deceased customers is unbelievable.

Words fail me

Words fail me! PO recently lost a parcel from The Poppy Shop containing 2 Remembrance Poppies that I had ordered. The Poppy Shop refunded my money without question. I suggested to the PO that as they had lost the parcel, they might like to consider making a donation to RBL charity. They refused! A large company quite happy to make profits out of a reputable charity whilst failing to provide a service.Thank you for your reply. I have followed your guidance

I think the staff that dealt with me today were so polite and helpful. It is quite a stressful work environment but deal with the knocks and moany customers really well .They look smart and professional at all times and give good advice when needed without being pushy. It is a lovely hub and well laid out. To be honest you can do everything here. Buy all you presents and cards, post them and organise travel and travel insurance. The people who served me today were Ethan and Erwin. I got there 1 minute to one but were very calm and measured. Please enter them for an award or give them pay rise

POST OFFICE SAVING ACCOUNT

Almost a month ago applied to open a saving account with post office. They asked to provide bank account details and relevant information which was provided, Then they asked for more information after everything was provided. contacted post office saving team on 8 & 16/11/23. I was assured they have everything that they need and everything is in order and they don't need any more information and the account would be open soon. After that have Raised a formal complaint which was ignored and not responded. Even I have provided a cheque for deposit.on 20/11/23 had two email from post office one ignored the official complained and the other asking for further information (almost a month after the application) and that is after numerous phone call to their customer services and saving account team and being reassured they had all the relevant information that they need. This is unbelievable behaviour and respond by post office. With response to your reply from post office Jess. Have emailed you and 3 days later you ignored it and did not replied. This issue has been reported to trading standard and Financial conduct authority.

Went into post office in Belle Vale…

Went into post office in Belle Vale shopping centre on Wednesday 22/11/23 at 12.48pm. Was going to pay my bills only to be told by young lady from concessions counter that post office was closed. When I queried the time as not being yet 1 o’clock I was told that by the time the customers waiting to be served we’re done it woul be 1oclock. The service in this post office is a disgrace as if I had gone to the concessions counter and wanted to pay by card I would have been told to go straight to the post office counter where I would have been served straight away but was unable to use counter because they were closing in 12 minutes. I find this totallyRIDICULOUS and feel this is not acceptable. If you complain then the owner of the shop gives you the height of abuse which I have witnessed on previous occasions when I have been there.Last time it was an elderly gentleman and a young lady was reduced to tears by the person in charge whose name is sherri.

Bailgate, Lincoln.Quite possibly met the rudest women in my 53 yrs on this planet today. I appreciate not many people enjoy being at work but the staff at this post office take it to another level.Clearly manners are no longer on the job description to work behind the counter, nor is a willingness to help their customers with queries. Unfortunately missed the name but only one at work with dark hair so figure it out…Just to busy waiting for their next cup of tea and cake to show an interested in their customers.

Outrageous cost to post Christmas cards.

Just been to my local Post Office to post my Christmas cards. £1.95 a card, 20 cards = £40! No wonder nobody posts cards anymore! On top of treating their own postmasters in a totally outrageous fashion, they also treat their customers in the same way! I stopped using them to post parcels years ago and I will now stop posting cards too! Can someone please end this monopoly and give us a good service at a fair price.

Sad decline of local Post Offices

It's sad to see the state of local Post Offices in my area. Both the main South Shields and Newcastle branches are so short staffed it's almost comical. They have to deactivate the self service tills because they don't even have a member of staff available to watch over them. This means that queues are even longer for the counters that are open. I feel sorry for the staff AND the customers. The one star rating does not reflect on the staff who are trying their best.Over the last 20 years the Royal Mail should have been coining it in - the rise of online shopping was a massive opportunity, but the lack of investment and the closures of so many local Post offices means that the likes of DPD, Evri and Yodel have hoovered up the home delivery market.Like a lot of the high street banks, it won't be long before local Post Office branches are a thing of the past.

I happened to arrive at a local post…

I happened to arrive at a local post office housed within a cooperative store earlier to pick up a parcel. The service window had a sign 'Position closed'. When asked, I was told to come back in 15 minutes as the person is on his break. Waited until the person arrived 20 minutes later to be served. This is not acceptable that service is run by one person to serve the public and one has to wait for 20 minutes to collect a parcel, already paid.

Wilmslow Post office (Tesco Green Ln…

Wilmslow Post office (Tesco Green Ln SK91LD)Where do I start? Surely you all seen the Stupid old saggy sad women work at the post office! She is blonde, miserable 100% I walked in to pick up my parcel as I approach the counter she was having a chat with her colleague and of course i had to break their moments, she began giving me her nasty look disapproved my existing to make her to do her job! I showed her my green online screenshot collection detail and She immediately ask my id (bank card) off she went to seek my parcel and came back saying there is nothing for me! I show her again the card she went off again and came back with there is nothing like my name! I show her again my email address which contained the details of collection and also clearly my name on the email address! I never had this problem before and very rudely and her voice still ringing in my ears! I storm off never thought that i have been racial discrimination! Just my thought! So i went there again after few days, this time I was served by an older lady (short grey hair) the evil women spotted me and start giving her nasty look! The lady went and she did ask my photo id in polite manner as she about to get my parcel the horrid sad women rushed to talk to short hair lady not to give my parcel because she believe the parcel isn't mine!! So i ask the lady to resend my parcel to the address on it! Should be with me on next day! At this point I am convince that women is RACIST! Therefore I urge all asian not to go to wilmslow post office, I will put it on all my social media to alert this disgusting behaviour!!!Never again I will use Wilmslow Tesco post office! Management should have her training how to customer service and she is not capable to do so (due to her age and racists toward asian) I also will put this to racist report!

Terrible service .

I would give them zero if I could . Went today to post two items . The usual long queue so I tried the machines . Two out of three were broken . The man ahead gave up and I was next . The first stamp was not too difficult but the next letter was over 5mm thick but the machine had no setting for this . All in all a totally rubbish service . The managers behind the Post Office should be shamed .

What’s the point of the Post Office…

What’s the point of the Post Office having having a phone number? If you phone 03457740740 you get an automated message the will tell you “We are expecting a higher call rate then usual & the time we can take your call is ONE HOUR (or more)” .How strange is that?It is a legal requirement for the post office to have an email BUT THEY DON’T have one.How strange is that?I heed to update some information on my online Royal Mail account but the page just reopens again and again when I click on the link, so I am unable to make any changes and unable to contact Royal Mail unless I write a letter to them. How stupid is that?????
