Sent packet via Post office and recieved a proof of posting note includede £50.00 insurance on package contents, Vale of item was infact £125.00 aprox, but I was sure it would get through.... Good news was the box / packaging arrived, BUT unfortunately, the box was damaged and no contents, (aparently, the postman confirmed this.)Phoned post office and got through and told that I could not make a complaint / claim for 10 days as the item is not lost until 10 days has passed, (well, the contents is not about to arrive without an address, and the Post Office has not yet invested in a telepathy as of yet. Presumably, it will not arrive without an address as that was on the packaging!Tried to call them after the ten days but could not get through. Tried email unsuccessfully and then eventually managed to call them again. Totally unhelpful.I thought that the ROYAL Mail / Post Office was a respectable and decent organisation, but it seems like many to have descheveled to little more than .......... (insert a word of your choice). They are in my mind devious, unhelpful, calculating and underhanded. I am disgusted by their service and behavoir and attitude. I was told that they have many packaged that are damaged on the conveyor etc.I will be taking this matter to the County Court as of principle if I do not have satisfaction.Perhaps, their Chief Executive Nick Reid would like to reply to my comments. I am waiting.

Disgusting service. For a city like Bristol, it has a tiny section in WH Smiths in the Galleries. The service is diabolical. Only 1 or 2 staff working during lunchtime with massive queues, whilst in the Bureau de Change 2 or 3 people sit there chatting, ignoring customers. Self-service is a joke, with no one to supervise or help with queries. Dreadful place.

Long queue and staff no help at all in Paisley High Street branch. Why is it so difficult to POST in a POST Office? Customer Service phone line directs online regardless of option pressed IMPOSSIBLE to speak to a human.

Krishna was so sweet and helpful, she took time to get everything correct. Both her and her colleague were super efficient and polite (especially when one of the customers was rude and obnoxious at the counter, they were gracious, patient and professional.

Just saw an apology made by the PO for publishing names etc of the prosecuted sub postmasters. Has this company no shame? My late Grandfather was once head of the post office in Aberdeen and I am sure he would be turning in his grave. Why aren’t the PO bosses jailed, aswell as Horizon? This has gone on stupidly long enough.

We sold our home in Wrexham and paid £51 to redirect mail to our new address. Unfortunately we did not get any mail to us only from the new owners to us instead! This is GRDP and I want a refund, luck I am friend with new owners of my old house and they kept my mail so we can collect it at their convenience. I don’t want ever to use their services again !

There is post office in Bexley village been closed now for nearly 6 weeks suddenly the shop and post office just closed no one knows if it will open again and people saying they have parcels in there and can’t get them. Will it reopen soon?

Really poor delivery service for a MASSIVELY overpriced cost. Sometimes we Dont get deliveries for 2-3 days despite the dates being for delivery that day. If stamps are legal tender, you should not have to fill in a form to swap for the new style stamps! You should be able to go to ANY POSTOFFICE and swap them not the sorting office which is understaffed and always in a location where you can’t park…..appropriate that is! There is clearly no thought and / or care for the customer! I can post a letter from the USA to the UK cheaper than it costs to post one to my next door neighbour and they say it offers value for money!

Just asking co-pilot about the Post Office scandal. “Had the Post Office acknowledged fault and paid fair compensation early, even at £100,000 per victim, the total cost would likely have been under £100, £200 million, avoiding nearly £1 billion in excess legal and administrative costs. The delay compounded both financial and human damage.” Looks like all tax payers have been affected too as govt is picking up some of the tab.

Receiving parcels through the Post Office is a nightmare of numerous contradictory texts and emails. As a customer you have no idea when your parcel will arrive even though you have received 4 or more texts and emails concerning the delivery. The communications regime is ridiculously complex. In contrast the actual delivery on the ground is usually very good. Sometimes less means more Post Office!

Chesterfield Post office in W H Smith is consistently a nightmare to visit . Six positions and one with a person in. Automatic machines closed. Snaking queue down the sheep pens and twenty minute wait most visits. Why ? No other retailer could survive with this level of service.

The girl with the long brown hair that always has it tied back in a pony tail talks to you disgusting! This has happened on many occasion! I have lodged a complaint about her, but the young girl and the gentleman that work there are really helpful. The dark haired girl needs to find a new job. She mostly works on the currency counter. Avoid her at all costs!!

Poor service! I sent two Christmas cards via airmail to Spain on 5th December 2025. They arrived on 2nd January 2026. Appalling service. I paid £3.90 per card. In contrast my partner sent his Christmas cards from Spain on 17th December 2025 and they arrived on 23rd December 2025. What has happened to the UK Postal Service. Its crumbling.
