GoogleI have used Reside initially as an agent for property and more recently for the sale two properties, one being my main residence. It was easy to decide knowing the owner has lived and worked in Rochdale with estate agency experience for decades, meaning they possess an expansive knowledge and expertise on the area. Initial discussions were transparent and honest with guidance on pricing and sales potential over the period of time I needed. A very professional approach and guidance with the photography and marketing to ensure the photographs maximised each rooms potential. Vicky Belfield, both friendly and engaging helped me achieve the sales target. She led both sales and most importantly I found her regular communication and personal attention to detail at each stage with updates very helpful and assuring. Her expert advice, even at a pinnacle point of negotiation was spot on, and ensured a smooth sale within date perimeters we set. In the next few years I will be selling another property and I will be going to Vicky and Reside.

GoogleVery unprofessional! don't follow up on offers submitted, when you ring up you get lied to. Rebecca i suggest you do your job in a professional manner! Rather than shouting across the room to your colleague saying my offer has been rejected and never even asked if i wanted to come back with a higher offer, nothing in writing to say my offer was put to the seller nothing in writing to say the seller has rejected the offer. I wonder if my offer was even put forward!

GoogleReally disappointed in how I was just spoken to when asking to view a property. We are in the process of selling ours but because we haven't agreed a sale yet (just gone on the market) we were told we couldn't even view a property that had been listed today. The attitude was "don't even bother until you've sold". Vicky just huffed and puffed right from the start of the call, what's the point when you're trying to sell a house? So glad we decided not to sell with this agency anyway. Will now not even bother viewing any more properties with them, we will take our money elsewhere. You just lost two customers and we will be advising everyone else to avoid.

GoogleBe very wary of Reside Estate Agency. From my own personal experience, they willingly include false information in the property advertisements, they blatantly do not follow data protection regulations and they literally ignore complaints. This is only the second negative review I have ever posted. For me, it is always a very last resort, but well deserved in this case. If you are looking to buy, sell or rent a property, I would strongly recommend using a local competitor.

GoogleHorrendously rude member of staff, didn’t get her name, showed us round a property and when asked a simple question that was extremely valid spoke to my fiancé like he was stupid. I tried to reiterate the question politely to just say we’ve had a bad experience in the past and she rolled her eyes and again spoke to me like I was stupid. Absolutely put off the entire company and would not recommend. Disgusting behaviour.

GoogleReside have been great from start to finish. They gave a fair valuation and maintained contact from start with the marketing and viewings. Through the sale process they kept in touch with our buyers , their solicitors and ours, nothing was a problem and they constantly chased up progress of sale. Rebecca managed our sale and she was easy to talk to and got things sorted. Highly recommended !

GoogleCalled them to inquire about a property they have for rent. When they asked about my income I revealed that I am disabled and on disability benefits but can still obviously afford the property. Was told that it was landlord's preference and that they do not want anyone who is disabled, after which they hung up the phone. I called back to complain and was told that the manager would call me back. I am still waiting for this call. I told them that it was unlawful to discriminate due to disability and that as long as I can afford the property what business of theirs is it where I get the money. Am very upset at this treatment. Would not contact them again.NegativeProfessionalism

I have dealt with lots of the local estate agents and I can confirm that Reside were the most professional and efficient estate agent in the area. Rebecca helped keep the sale on track and moving forward, even throughout lockdown. She kept everyone updated with great communication and made the whole process stress and hassle free . GoogleThis agency continue to advertise properties even when a sale has been agreed. I contacted them to arrange a viewing of a property offered for sale on their website and Rightmove. The person who answered the phone was very abrupt and stated the property had been sold. When I asked why it was still being offered for sale, she just put the telephone down. A week later it is still advertised for sale. They are waisting prospective purchasers time and their own time. I emailed them with my concerns and they have not responded. Very Unprofessional person called Sarah.

GoogleTerrible service. Was left waiting over a week to be told we were unsuccessful in buying a property. I had to ring seven times to find out any information about the sale and got told a different story each time. I have even emailed to ask for an explanation about what happened and it has so far been ignored! Safe to say, I won't be looking at any more properties with Reside!
