GoogleGoing through a difficult time after losing my father recently and needed a House valuation to start the process of getting a grant of probate to deal with his estate. Ben White from Reside came out to value my Fathers house. Ben was very professional and he was a honest, very polite, genuine guy. No bull from him and he was very understanding of my situation. Definitely recommend.

GoogleI want to say that if your are thinking of selling, buying or letting your house use Reside. I have just sold another house with them and they where 5*, Vicky was brilliant , kept me informed any the way through the process via text or phone calls so I will be using them 100% again. Vicky also managed to get me more than the original sale price, which made me very happy !!!

GoogleOur experience with this estate agent has been extremely disappointing and unprofessional from start to finish. We initially offered on a property in November 2024, and it took 2, 3 weeks just to receive an acceptance, a delay that should have been a red flag. From that point, communication deteriorated further. We waited weeks for a memorandum of sale, despite making repeated calls and follow-ups which went largely unanswered. Eventually, the memo was sent, but the inefficiency didn’t stop there. We were then chased 2, 3 times a week by the agency asking if we had received our valuation, which we had. It felt more like they were concerned about the accuracy of their own pricing than progressing the sale. We secured a mortgage offer promptly, but discovered in March 2025, four months after our offer was accepted, that the estate agent had still not instructed a solicitor on behalf of the seller. When one was finally appointed, our own solicitor made several enquiries, which were met with incomplete or inadequate responses. After six months of constant delays and poor communication, we made the decision to withdraw from the purchase, something no buyer wants to do, but felt forced into by the unacceptable handling of the sale. To add insult to injury, after relisting the property, the agency labelled us as “time wasters”, a completely false and defamatory statement, considering the extensive time, effort, and money we had already invested. We are now in the process of pursuing legal action for defamation, as we will not accept being treated in such an unprofessional and damaging manner. This experience has highlighted a serious lack of organisation, professionalism, and basic customer service. I would strongly urge others to think twice before engaging with this estate agent.

The 2nd sale went through smoothly with no issues and in a matter of weeks. GoogleI instructed Reside for sale/purchase of my properties. Having had many dealings with various estate agents over the years I have the pleasure to say Reside is the only agent I would use. Joanne is an absolute star, absolutely brilliant service from start to finish. Joanne continued to go the extra mile liaising with the purchasers and the solicitors to ensure the sales went through smoothly. A big thank you to Vicky without her help we would not have been able to secure our future home. She worked So hard for us. The rest of the team have been friendly, helpful and the ultimate professionals. I will always use Reside for the sale of my properties. No other agent can beat the service they provide.

GoogleMy property needed a lot of work and living a long way away I couldn't deal with it myself presented a problem. Jason came to view, said there wasn't a problem. Within a few days he had 34 enquiries and over 16 viewings. I received an offer far more than I'd hoped for. Really helpful and friendly company.

GoogleRecently sold our property in Shaw,Oldham with Reside. Must say we’ve found them to be very professional throughout the process even recommending solicitors we could use. Our agent Ben was an impeccably dressed young man who sparkled from our first meeting. He couldn’t do enough for us and was always pleasant and happy to communicate. We thoroughly recommend this agency and I’d ask for Ben personally as he’s a very astute, articulate young man .

It's fair to say that the sale of the house wasn't without unexpected problems but everyone at Reside remained dynamic and proactive when dealing with any challenges. GoogleIv been renting my property now for two years, can't fault Reside, Sarah is always at the end of the phone if I have had any issues or questions. She's always been quick and efficient to reslove any issues. Sarah manages all the property's on our development which I feel helps keep us all comfortable and reasurred that all the houses are being maintained to a high standard.I feel that Reside/Sarah is always professional and I'm happy with their services so far, so thank you, especially to Sarah ☺️

GoogleBeware of these. Where do I begin!!! This company lies about the chain which they had control of, no communication when you do get hold of them, they say they are too busy to answer any questions. We bought a property of them and it took 7 months to complete as they didn't tell people one of the houses was rented and could not sell for 6 months. Just wrong. By the way Jason we moved in to our new house 2 weeks ago. Just incase you didn't know as you have not contacted us for 7 weeks. GoogleSelling and buying a house is stressful, I don't think anyone would disagree. It took me a long time to make the decision to sell my house and buy a new one. And now I wish I had done it sooner and not waited so long. I did some research about various estate agents, and I did meet more than one. Reside answered me promptly and got my property on the market within days. Jason visited my property and I liked his no nonsense approach, I don't suffer fools nor people wasting my time and so it was a welcome relief to not have to listen to any sale patter. Once on the market Faye managed the selling of my property. I really cant say enough positive things about how easy she made it for me. Kept in constant contact, gave me great advice, helped me with my purchase, answered me promptly and out of hours, and closed my sale seamlessly. I am honest when I say I don't think I could have done it so successfully without her. I made the right choice of estate agent and I would choose them again. If I compare them to the agent of the house I purchased, Reside wipe the floor with them in every aspect.

At all times she delivered a highly professional service and guided the sale process to a very satisfactory conclusion. We would 100% recommend Amy and the service that she provides and now we've had such an easy ride of buying, She made us feel totally at ease and gave us regular updates throughout the whole process which really took the pressure off of such a stressful process.

GoogleExtremely poor experience from start to finish. It took weeks for our offer to be accepted, followed by months of silence, poor communication, and delays. Despite securing our mortgage early, the agency constantly chased us while failing to ensure the seller had even instructed a solicitor. After six months of frustration, we had to withdraw, only to be wrongly accused of wasting time. Unprofessional throughout. Avoid.

GoogleAmy and the team at Reside were great, our house was a hard house to sell with it being over 4 floors and having lots of stairs inside and up to the property. Everyone who came through the door wete fully aware of the issues and there for the right reasons with no time wasters. The sale went through with no issues and Amy and the team were always on hand to go the extra mile to help this process. Would recommend them to anyone.
