She has been clear and informative at all times and made sure we have understood the process, and where we are up to at all times. Despite it being very stressful for all involved, Nikki has remained calm and therefore in turn kept us calm also

Low in honesty and integrity as per review 12 Dec 2023. Really not self aware and manager who deals with complaints is just defensive (and doesn't follow ombudsman code of practice where you should be told how to appeal) Follow up to complaint was ignored so no choice but to refer to ombudsman and ICO. They ignored both of these until money awarded. Then they defended their position. Paid out after being chased as expected.An apology and flowers would have surficed 12 months ago but no....shame it came to this.Edit: keenans's response; great to finish off with their sense of humour out there....lol....
Dennett, as much as we appreciate feedback both good and bad we feel it’s only fair that this feedback is accurate. You have sold multiple properties over the years with ourselves, and have never had an issue until payment of our fee. Our complaints procedure is transparent and has not been an issue for any of the parties you have approached to investigate, all of which we are more than happy to co-operate with. Your eventual downgraded award of a mere £75 was based upon a technicality which after a drawn out process of over 12 months we obliged to pay, to draw a line under the matter, we really do feel it’s time to move on - yet you still wish to continue. We wish you the best of luck in the future sale of any property, but for the best interest of all parties involved sadly we won’t be representing yourself again.

Our experience of buying a property through Keenan’s was not good. We recommend that if you use this company, check and double check any information provided and anything you might think has been omitted. Not as trustworthy as they want you to think. We were led to believe that the property we were purchasing was unoccupied and consequently there was no chain. It was only when I complained that I found out that the property was occupied and there was a chain. I had made it clear from the outset that as we were moving from Scotland where the house market is much more efficient we needed a quick move. That did not happen. My calls were not returned by Ella on many occasions and instead I received sloppy texts. We ended up having to stay in temporary accommodation at great expense ta ourselves.

I recently used Keenan’s Estate agents in Bury in relation to the sale of my property. I dealt with Melissa throughout. She was extremely professional and took all the stress out of the process. She kept me updated about things on a daily basis and made sure my sale went through without any issues! She is a credit to the company and I wouldn’t hesitate using Keenan’s again if everyone provides service like Melissa does

The viewings were managed and handled professionally and respectfully and we were updated regularly by phone and email. The whole process was smooth. They have communicated with us throughout the whole process and answered questions promptly. Every staff member we have had interactions with could not have been more helpful. My property was undervalued by £10000- £15000. The argument behind it, which was to get more people through the door, was more to have a quick turnaround and get a commission. We spent 2 years renovating our property and had we agreed with them, we would have lost massively and couldn't have been able to afford our next property.By law, estate agent should be advertising their fee inclusive of VAT. The agent kept the VAT hidden until when the paper had to be signed, only to be shocked by an extra 20%. The first visit was filled with marketing tricks and fake offers which turned out to be higher than other agencies.

All of our fees ( including VAT) are clearly stated on all of our fee schedules/ paperwork/ marketing material. That aside a suggested marketing price and an achieved price are two very different things but statistically, compared to regional averages time and time again we have been independently recognised as achieving higher prices for our customers- it’s a shame here that didn’t give us the opportunity to show you what price we are able to achieve for you! We were absolutely impressed with the service provided by Keenans Estate Agents especially Ella. The whole process of buying a house, from the initial stage of viewing the property and to the final stages of completion went very smoothly due to Ella’s proactive approach and professionalism. Ella was very informative, polite, built good rapport, and always had time and patience to listen to what we had to say and answer any of our questions and queries. She would always update us on a weekly basis without fail in regards to any updates, on any progress made about the purchase and would guide us with anything we were unsure of. As we all know, house buying can be a very stressful and a difficult experience, but having a person like Ella being part of this process can make the whole experience an enjoyable one due to her customer orientated approach. GoogleI recently dealt with Lauren Southworth at the Rochdale branch of Keenan’s and I would like to thank her so much for her help during this time - the property is being sold following a bereavement and I found Lauren to be incredibly professional - she provided a fantastic service, I received lots of advice and guidance and when she came to visit the property she was very respectful and accommodating during this difficult period. When arranging the valuation she was flexible when agreeing a time and date. I was very pleased with the valuation of the property and she was happy to answer any of my questions. I felt reassured that I was being taken care of by somebody who really knows their stuff. I undoubtedly made the right choice as the service offered by Daryl was exceptional throughout and I was kept updated on progress at all stages. GoogleI found Keenan's Rochdale, led by Aaron Valentine, to be very professional from the outset. The quality of the photographs online was excellent and James did a good job of the escorted viewings. Aaron and Nicole liaised with me with feedback after every viewing, and after any conversations with the purchaser and solicitors. They also phoned me on a weekly basis so I always felt that I was kept in the loop. Aaron always replied promptly to my emails. I can highly recommend them and would definitely use them again.

I used Keenans as managing agents for my home when I was working abroad and needed to let it out.The service was very poor from the word go and cost me directly financially and indirectly through stress.When I gave notice to end my relationship with Keenans they ignored me until I made a formal complaint. Keenans ignored my formal complaint, I went to the ombudsman and Keenans misled the ombudsman, that is the last straw for me, simply breathtaking.I would recommend anyone to avoid Keenans like the plague

Absolutely hopeless. I have just tried to engage in a potential purchase through Keenan’s, but they neither answer emails nor phone calls. I got as far as putting in an offer on a property a week ago after chasing them numerous times, but I have literally heard nothing further from them, even after telephoning yet again and leaving a message requesting an update. I am now walking away. There are a number of other agents who are very keen for my business, especially in these difficult economic times, so I will certainly not be wasting any more of my time with Keenan’s.

I had an excellent experience using Keenan's. I found them to be extremely responsive and helpful at all stages. My sale had a few ups and downs (not the fault of the agent), but Robert was brilliant and found us the right buyer.After the sale was agreed Ella dealt with our matter and was always helpful and called me back when requested. She provided all the information I needed that the solicitors weren't giving me!All in all they are highly recommend from me.
