Absolutely useless team of managing…

Absolutely useless team of managing agents. Always take forever to reply to your emails/calls. Constantly making out everything is our fault. We had a 20 year old bath in our flat, a small crack appeared and when we reported it, they said we were liable to buy a new one. Thankfully I know my rights and this constitutes ‘fair wear and tear’. However, they dug their heels in and it took over a month for them to replace it, at one point they suggested we go 50/50.

Cold water during winter…

Renting with Dexters in a north west property that has central heating. Me and my neighbors in the higher floor often experienced the hot water issues during evenings despite the weather is getting very cold recently - Dexter claimed the issues are fixed and reassured, and indeed I had some lucky weeks that didn’t need to take cold showers, however, here we go again, the issue is back and we again only have cold water, in the evening with freezing weather outside. The building is not really well managed I’d say, and despite it took two week to investigate the issues, it persisted, so if you rent with Dexters, be prepared to deal with 100 issues constantly and inconvenience.

Almost all of them was helpful, but Claudia from Dexters Teddington branch made the difference and helped us a lot in making a convincing offer for the property we liked and finding the house we were looking for. I worked with Alexandra and Ann at Dexter's in Teddington when buying our house, they were both fantastic! Having had an extremely positive experience of buying a house with Dexters, I would definitely sell through them if I was doing so in the future. Without the kindness and expert help from Alex and Ann, I would not have been able to buy the house I wanted and I am incredibly grateful for this! We had a few time constraints and difficulties crop up at the start of the process and they jumped into action for me and worked really hard to make sure everything worked out, despite having other potential buyers waiting in the wings. They were also super responsive and proactive during the conveyancing process with very quick replies to emails or calls. Thank you so much Alex and Ann and I can genuinely recommend Dexters if you are buying or selling your home!

Been in the apartment since Sept last…

Been in the apartment since Sept last year I won’t lie there where some issues that got me angry I.e Mould, the house heaters , where to mount my bike to name but a few but am happy to say that from the moment I got in touch with Poppy he really made sure that all the issues are sorted out, he is prompt in answering emails and following up. Latest was the fridge issue I had to send him mail to thank him for the effort. I thought I should put my appreciation here.

I can't recommend the Teddington team highly enough! They have been fantastic all the way through. A total cowboy outfit. I offered on a property which was accepted only to be told 2 days later they had a better off so unless i offered my best and final it will go to the new person.
