Really poor organisation around a new tenancy agreement. They were slow to reply, mixed up payments and withheld deposit returns. We are left with an unsigned tenancy agreement despite living in the house for 5 weeks. Utterly useless.

Googleabsolute worst estate agents you could possibly choose. Their terms for renters are beyond unreasonable, their promises are empty, and their customer service is abysmal. I had the misfortune of renting a flat through Dexters in Richmond, and it was a nightmare from start to finish.
The flat I rented had no heating and no hot water for over a month, and despite repeated complaints and endless phone calls, Dexters did nothing to resolve the issue. When I inquired about moving out due to the uninhabitable conditions, I was hit with a demand for a 10% penalty of the remaining 14 months on the contract. This predatory practice is designed to trap renters in substandard living conditions with no way out.
Dealing with the staff at the Richmond branch was a nightmare in itself. They were dismissive, rude, and disrespectful, showing no empathy or concern for the dire situation I was in. It took over a month of constant pestering before any action was taken, and even then, I was forced to pay the penalty just to escape the nightmare of having to deal with them.
Save yourself the headache and avoid Dexters at all cost.
