Chester Branch where both Abi and Jess are so helpful

At the Chester Branch both Abi and Jess were very welcoming and Abi gave me a great deal of help and information which enabled me to feel confident about buying a TaylorWimpey home. My questions have and are in the process of being answered very quickly and efficiently. The cup of peppermint tea was very welcome on the day I came to the meeting with her too.

We purchased a home in Stoneyetts (West of Scotland).Nicola in Sales was completely fantastic, always keeping us updated and answering queries quickly and honestly. She made a point of supporting us through each step.The building site manager, Alan is friendly and made a point of chatting us through the build and what to expect.When we moved in, there were the usual few snags on the list. However, anything we did have was dealt with quickly and professionally by Kevin and Tony who were extremely helpful and approachable. Tony has gone above and beyond. We're so grateful. We have now been in our home for c7 weeks and so about to move into the stage where we're looked after by after sales and Customer Care. Hopefully they will prove to be as attentive and professional as the rest of the team thus far.

Where is my garden gate TW

Had to chase for a garden gate to be built as it was paid for already when the house was built. The cowboys that TW used was incredible. After the gate was put up, sorry chucked up they left nails, wood clippings, cigarette ends and the best part a hammer. I have a child who is 18 months old. The gate still does not lock correctly so I had to pay extra. This is the sort of crap you have to deal with TW. Aftercare is a shambles and all they say is sorry. Unbelievable.

We were in the process of purchasing a property at the Barley Grange development in Durrington. Although the deal eventually fell through due to unforeseen issues at our end, the overall experience was very positive. Overall, the buying process was smooth and the construction quality is good. Home was delivered on time and there were only minor snags. Removing 1 star because building an apartment block "without lifts" in 2024 is a very poor architectural design decision. Apartment blocks should have lifts in them by default even if it's only 2 floors!

Lied to by Sales at Scholars Chase Bristol

Lied to by Sales at Scholars Chase.I have been told by S***** at Scholars Chase that I was lied to by her colleagues about the personnel door to the garage. I was refused the opportunity to add this to my reservation on Touchpoint. It now turns out that ALL my neighbours with garages in my street have them. Literally every single plot has got one. One neighbour had the option unlocked, they reserved before us, one plot refused to exchange until they had the option included and others just had the option. Just me then without the option. One plot had their door retro fitted because TW forgot to install it earlier, one house had their door put where they wanted it, one house didnt get a choice about where their door was. Scholars Chase is very disappointing. The doors are apparently ordered from the suppliers IG doors in Wales and then retro fitted, the garages are not built with the gap for the doors, they are apparently insterted after the garage is built by removing bricks to make the hole. I understand that there is a lead time for materials but as I waited FIVE YEARS for this plot I am very disappointed. We have a garage in a block, we are literally the only people not to have this option.UpdatedDear EmmaThank you for your response. Stacey was on maternity leave, therefore she was employed by you at the time. Stacey stated to me that I had been lied to. Stacey stated that the service I had from Shannon was not good enough. Shannon moved to the site at keynsham under the Bristol head office. Best wishes
