No interest in their customers

Been in our house for a year and our experience continues to be very, very poor. Cannot get a straight answer about issues raised on touchpoint. Every time you call up you're given different answers, communication very poor and promised callbacks never happen. TW have to be the worst company we have ever dealt with. Latest example my husband called up on friday again to ask for a simple straight answer and was promised a callback that day, no call on friday, no call yesterday and he was just told to callback tomorrow. Nobody takes responsibility and nobody cares. It's taken a year for them to fix a kitchen fitting reported on the day we moved in.Edit - finally spoke to someone at the right office (thanks Gaynor for your efforts) and told something directly contradicted by an email a few weeks ago from our sites Customer Relations Manager, TW really are inept

Wallace Troon - Great Value!

I have lived in my Wallace house in Troon since 2019, I was reluctant to review the house until it had settled. 4.5 years on I can’t fault it. It’s still as new, nothing has worn, not even a spotlight has flickered. I was sceptical being my first new build but I honestly can’t complain, the value has gone up too so overall it’s been a positive step.Neighbourhood is quiet & friendly, great place for families.

After care is terrible and the estate…

After care is terrible and the estate is yet to be finished. Which has been promised many times and not followed through. But the worst bit is the toddlers park that was built the bins are over flowing with rubbish and attracting rats. When they are contacted they tell us some one will be out and they don’t turn up very poor

After spending a lot of money on extras I'm rather disappointed when my carpet developed a fault and was told it was not your problem. Whatever happened to fit for purpose 😕!! So thank you for the response taylor wimpey..That was not the same reason as you gave my husband previously. You got the report back and stated it was a manufacturing problem thanks again for the response and different reason I'll take this further .

BUYERS BEWARE!!

We bought a Langdale which was supposed to be our house of our dreams. From the time we moved in we had water pouring into our double garage, the two main chimney stacks had to be replaced which meant stripping off half of the roof and even then when they were installed the new chimney stacks were the wrong colour! The SVP’s and air extraction ducts to both the bathroom, ground floor WC and en suite discharged open ended into the roof space causing condensation and strong smells.There was loft insulation missing over the bathroom ceiling. Dentils stuck on with Dow Corning on the eaves. Rubble down the cavity walls. The garden had little or no top soil and it was full of builders rubble ie: bricks, blocks, timber, pipes etc..so much so that you couldn’t even get a spade or fork into the ground. The bay window roof was a second off another project. A sub-contractor stained our landing carpet and it had to be replaced at our own expense because the contractor denied doing it. The site manager was arrogant and economical with the truth at all stages throughout the contract and the senior site manager was unbelievably even worse. The whole experience made both my partner and I ill and it nearly destroyed our partnership. We wouldn’t have another TW new build even if it was given it to us for free. They are a cart load of monkeys only concerned about making bonuses, meeting build programmes and satisfying shareholders. BUYERS BEWARE! The only good thing in all of this was that after numerous phone calls, nagging, and emails we did eventually get the work done. However if the work had been inspected and checked properly then we wouldn’t of had such grief and heartache.
